I played indoor pickleball throughout the summer with some church ladies (killers on the court) and borrowed 2 other brands of rackets to learn to play before deciding to buy my own. These racquets are slightly heavier but not difficult to swing, even for kids. I love that they have a plastic edge to prevent chipping or splitting. My 8 y.o. immediately banged his on every surface and tried to scoop the ball off the ground like a pancake flipper. For the price and durability, you can't beat this set. And it also comes with comfortable grips, a cinch bag, and extra pickleballs.

Got these for our family to try out the pickleball. The rackets are pretty sturdy, he balls are good and a plus there is a carry bag for it all. As first time pickleballers, I think its a great deal to try if you like the sport.

This is a great set for beginners. The paddles are well made and sturdy. Since they are made of wood, they tend to be a bit heavier than the premium paddles.
