Perfect gift
This was a perfect gift for my 7 year old nephew. He absolutely loved it.

Excellent set, easily put together by my 10 year old who has had many hours of fun with it!

Some issues
I had to take over and I would not expect a 7 year old to build this as it stretched me. The manual has some failures of clarity and the sequence of the build is not always a simple straight direction - I found it easier to remove certain pieces and make the attachments then reaffix to the structure. On the plus side, you get a lot for under £30 (Lego pricing can be hard to figure when comparing across sets). Once assembled, my grandson was engaged for some time and is happy at the addition to his Ninjago range. I've downloaded the free digital manual from the Lego website as, without a manual, I wouldn't have a hope of reassembling if/when it comes apart.
