Daily Meditation 1 KJV Non Dramatized Audio Bible Player - King James Version Electronic Bible

I am in no way connected with this company, and I paid for my unit. I never do reviews, but wanted to in this case. This Bible player is very, very good. With a variety of male narrators reading with no background music, it is clear and loud enough to listen to in a noisy car with windows down on normal city roads. On the highway with the windows up and the A/C on, it is very loud at full tilt and I only use about 75% of the volume even then. While the sound is what you'd expect with a speaker of this size, the quality is good, and headphone quality is very good, but not audiophile quality, obviously. These are digital files, so they are as clear as you would expect. Other players I have had have sounded as clear, but never as loud. It feels lighter than it should, but I think it is more durable than it seems. I am not going to throw it at a wall to find out, but I really think it is pretty tough. Battery life is phenominal-I use it literally daily for over an hour and one charge lasted me almost 3 months.What I don't like as much: These are preloaded with a sim card that you are clearly instructed NOT to remove or mess with. I would prefer this card to be completely internal so no warning would even be needed. If I "wanted" to, I guess I could pop it with my fingernail like a normal mini usb, and I just wish it had a permanent cover on it. Not remotely a big issue for me.Part of me wishes it had a bag to go into, but then I think I would not use it as often and as habitually if I have to take it out and put it away again each time. Now, I just grab it and use it on and off quickly and easily. If I ever break it, I'll just buy another one without question. So maybe I would like a rubber cover for it for one added protection? I can always make something...The other reports on this company's customer service are all true. Period. I had an issue with something that was not his fault at all, and his response was extremely fast, professional and totally satisfying. This is a small company with someone trying to run a business with eternal consequences, and it showed in his emails, product and service.

wonderful customer serviceThis is actually the second audio Bible I ordered for a friend as I loved mine so well. I take mine outside in the garden and in the car as well. The audio can be put quite loud so that I can even hear it when I am on our garden tractor! My granddaughter who is five is always asking to listen to the Jesus stories. The battery last several hours. I lost my recharging cord a month ago. I emailed the seller asking where I could purchase another cord and they sent me one without charge. Wonderful customer service, The product arrived quickly and I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't like to have ear plugs hanging from their ears all day or who might have issues with their eye sight. I find I can listen much longer than I can read and I can hear for longer periods of time that I might not have for sitting and reading. The handle string is perfect for the wrist or looping on something close by that you may be working on. The man who does the actual reading has a great soothing voice. I am sure there is a place for ear plugs however, I do not like to have things stuck in my ears and my phone has terrible audio volume.I would buy again

One of the main reasons I wanted a player like this is follows - The only thing this device does is read the Word, or have music to pray to. I know that I can listen to any number of apps or audio of the Bible being read on my phone and my tablet. BUT, I way too often fall into the temptation and TRAP to go to social media, waste time on youtube, or just “waste” time in general. I’m smiling ear to ear right now as I listen to this. I want to take a moment to thank the folks who put this device together. May God bless you for seeing this need and providing this product to further the Word of God!Straight out of the box. Turned it on using the quick start page. Shows a full battery and am currently listening to the word of God! Hallelujah. I will update later after use if there are any issues. I’ve already purchased it for a friend as well! Seems to be very user friendly and the book that comes with it shows you how to use it in detail.The headphones. These are the earbud type of headphone. I love that the cord is flat instead of round also. It is very pliable and long enough so I can put the player into my pocket so I can use my hands.Speaker is nice and loud.Look and feel - is nice as well. Buttons are very easy to use. I can see how a sight impaired or blind person would get great usage of this as well.There is a light that comes on when you use the buttons (which is very nice for nighttime usage), it goes off after a little bit as well so that you can sleep with it on.Voices - So far I’ve only heard 2 different voices because this is Day 1. I listened to the first couple chapters of Genesis and the first couple of Matthew. Both voices are very clear and pleasing.Music - I’ve listened to the first track of meditation music on it so far. It is nice and I can see that I might enjoy this to sleep, and also to pray to before I read my Bible and listen to this player.There is a little loop to put it around your wrist if you like also.Overall, I am very satisfied with this device so far.Places I will use this. While doing dishes, folding laundry, driving in the car, sleep, sitting on the porch, and at times when I want to read along in my Bible. Sometimes I get sleepy while reading, so I will use this to listen to as I read.

Update #2 Adjusting to five stars - seller sent replacement promptly and reiterated one year warranty. Great customer service and my little guy is thrilled to have his audio Bible in hand again! I’d definitely buy again, and likely will soon as my five year old has been asking for his own 👍Update: I was able to contact the seller and they were super helpful and responsive and are sending a replacement. I didn't realize but there's a one year warranty on this item. So I will update my review room five stars once the replacement process is accomplished. So far very impressed with customer service for this item.Original review:A few days ago this would have been a five star review! I purchased this great little audio Bible for my seven year old son who listens to it every night in bed. I mean every night. He loves it. If he wakes up during the night, he turns it on and listens again. It is a staple. Nice voices, easy to navigate, rechargeable battery. Well, was rechargeable...But today he showed me that somehow the port where you plug the charging cable in has broken - it just fell into the inside of the audio Bible and is rattling around in there (see attached video). It’s less than three months old - I feel like that is a little short life span for this amount of money. My son is completely devastated - this is his go to for nighttime anxiety.

I love this Bible player.I like that it has a cross on the speaker, I love crosses and I love Jesus.I love how blind person friendly this machine is.It's very friendly for the blind to use and navigate the scripture.It's also very relaxing, I fell asleep to it last night.I love the sound quality of this machine.I love the size of it.It sure beats having to carry a braille Bible.The reader's voice is both clear and relaxing.The only gripe that I have is that it would be better if they replaced the meditation songs with hymnals.
