The surface of this magnetic bedplate is amazing. I have a Qidi iFast printer. I loved the removable magnetic baseplate as it allowed me to refrigerate the print and have it remove easily. The problem was if I didn't get to it and the part cooled slowly, when removing, the baseplate surface would remove with it. This PEI plate is amazing. Whether I cool it quickly or slowly, the part removes easily. Also, the adherence to the surface is much better than my original plate. I have bought a couple of these plates to swap out and continue printing quickly. I have purchased another for an old Ultra3D printer I am upgrading the mother board and bedplate on. I highly recommend these magnetic baseplates. They are a great value and work great.

An excellent solution for anyone looking to print PETG. Those who have printed using PETG know two things. The material either sticks so well that it fusses with your bed and destroys it. Or, it barely adheres at all and warps right off your build plate. Textured PEI is the perfect solution, the material sticks perfectly during your print and the part pops right off when it cools down.As for the product itself, I'm quite happy with it. As far as I can tell there are a lot of sellers on Amazon right now selling these sheets. The only difference seems to be the extreme price delta. This appeared to be one of the most cost efficient solutions so I figured I'd give it a try. I'm really glad I did as it works an absolute treat. I rarely need to even remove the sheet off my build plate. Once the part(s) cool off they just pop right off. No glue, tape, hairspray, or more expensive solutions. Just the textured PEI, that's it. EDIT: I made a mistake setting up plate, this why it did not work properly. I reinstalled plate and it works great. A seller also offered me a refund (that I did not do) so it is an extra point for customer care. Great product, you need to follow instructions how to properly setup plate.------OLD:I am using Ender 3v2 and bought this plate as the bed of the Ender is too adhesive and it is extremely hard to get prints off from it. This plate has quite the opposite effect - PLA does not really stick to it. I have tried re-leveling and other stuff and _sometimes_ it works, but quite often prints move during printing and it turns everything into a mess.

I've printed maybe... 8 times on this now and it works pretty well. Mounting it to my printer was easy enough, the magnetic sheet works very well even when it's hot.My only complaint so far is one side stopped sticking to prints. I got maybe 5 good prints on it before it stopped sticking. I tried cleaning it with isopropyl alcohol, but it didn't help at all. Flipping the sheet over worked for now, but it may be a matter of time before that side stops sticking too.Will try to "roughen" the PEI surface with light sanding or steel wool and see if it helps. I've read online that some of these cheap "PEI" print beds are not actually PEI coated. If I can't get this bed to work long term, I'll likely purchase an official Prusa bed or similar.

I received this a few days ago and when I picked up the package, wow was it heavy. I have puirchased some magnetic surfaces in the past that came with a magnetic portion and the plate (sometimes even 2 plates) and they were not as heavy as this.Do not mistake this as a complaint! All of the other magnetic surfaces I have bought in the past at this price point, have been underwhelming with thin magnetic surfaces that made me initially question my purchase, but continue to use the products seeing no issues.That changed when this arrived. The 3M magnetic mounting surface included with the spring steel bed is hefty, and is the culprit behind that meatiness of the delivered package. Finally something that I can put faith behind from moment one! This 3M mount was very quickly secured into place, and I was able to easily trim a small portion of the mount where needed (I knew from the time I purchased that this would need done as my printer has an oddball size bed) to ensure a perfect fit.Now lets move on to the spring steel plate. This thing is strong in its own right but flexes easily to pop prints off and doesn't feel flimsy like you'd bend it in the process... like some other brands I won't name here. I was actually kind of startled the first time I used it, as I expected to need to flex the plate more than I actually needed to, and the print excitedly popped up off the plate at me. LOLThe only negative I can say about this product is that it came with no instruction sheet, which I get this is an easy enough process but someone really new to these might have questions about orientation, cleaning, etc... that could be offered on a small insert.Overall am a fan so far and this is my 2nd purchase from Kingroon (also bought some filament I'll be testing and doing a review for soon). Really hope to find some more of their products in my household soon.Score: 4.9/5.0

I wanted to try this cause I was like magnetic surface sounds like a game changer, and well once I got the surface and found out that you can only use it at Temps of 80c as the max and the surface is real hard to get anything to stick to it, I decided I am.just going to stick with Glas surfaces cause the adhesion just can't be beat, as of now anyway. On a side note though, the magnetic part was for sure cool, just to bad about everything else.

When printing with PTEG spray it small amount of WD-40 on the surface where the printed item will be printed and with a Kleenex gently spread the liquid over the PEI surface. After the printed object is completed allow the printer to cool completely. With a minimal bend of the surface the object will pop off.

Queda muy bien en la plancha de la impresora, se desprende fácilmente el producto impreso.

Lleva varias horas de impresión aun no veo ninguna problema, si no tienes la cama nivelada bien y bajas el extrusor caliente lo marcas ojo con esto y también de vez en cuando una limpieza con alcohol y un trapo. Probado con PLA ABS Y PETG

Bevor ich die PEI Magnetplatte kaufte, druckte ich bei meinem Ender 5 immer auf Glasplatte. Die Haftung der ersten Schicht gestaltete sich zur Glückssache, war gerade bei PETG stark davon abhängig, ob der Abstand zum Druckkopf 100% richtig eingestellt war und sich nicht verändert hatte, aber auch von der absoluten Sauberkeit der Druckplatte.Der Einbau der PEI-Platte gestaltet sich einfach. Allerdings muss beim Ender 5 die original verklebte Magnetschicht erst einmal herunter und das darunter liegende Metallbett sauber und einigermaßen eben gemacht werden. Jedenfalls war das bei meinem Drucker notwendig, da die originale Magnetplatte nicht mehr richtig magnetisch war.Danach wird die mitgelieferte Magnetschicht verklebt und die Federstahlplatte aufgelegt. Sie hält sehr gut fest.Der erste Druck und mehrere weitere Drucke gelangen auf Anhieb. Das von mir hauptsächlich verdruckte PETG hielt und hält beim Druck bombenfest. Nach dem Druck nehme ich die Federstahlplatte einfach ab, lasse sie abkühlen und löse die Bauteile dann durch Verbiegen der Platte. Das Abkühlen ist wichtig, um die PEI Schicht nicht zu beschädigen. Auch das funktioniert einwandfrei.Ich kann diese Platte mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen.

Adhesion isn't brilliant, had to sand one side. Only pla so far. See how it does with others
