I use it in my car. Easy to set up and get on a SIM plan (glad it came with a SIM already). The device is about the size of a portable USB HDD - so it's big, but it has a decent sized battery. No extra wiring in. Haven't had it long enough to assess how long a full charge lasts. Magnet seems strong - holds well but can also be repositioned. Tracking is accurate. Connectivity to the app is simple. The app itself seems good (but I've not used others to compare). You can add multiple trackers to the app. You can review all your journeys easily - handy for working out when you began a journey! Geofence was also easy to set up. Can set it to notify you if the tracker is lifted.

Very good, accurate tracking. Only real issue is of course, trying to keep it hidden. I'm using a ford focus, but I'm sure anyone else wouldn't have a problem with bigger cars.

Due to a break in at a caravan storage site, my partner and myself prompted to further upgrade our security, we already had the hitch lock and wheel lock, just as the caravan which got stolen (not ours). After a lot of research, I decided to buy the Salind 20 GPS. The device is quite small and compact with no noise at all in tracking mode and in standby mode. The magnetic is quite strong, stronger than I thought but I didn't want to connect the device to chassis as it's easy to get to if the criminals have GPS scanner devices to locate the device. You could cable tie or grab addseive the device to chassis for more reasurrance and more difficult to get off. I personally put the device inside the caravan away from storage compartments and outside lockers as they're easy to get to from the outside. I have concealed the device in the bathroom, somewhere not seeable but hard to get too (tight fit), this would hopefully trigger the sensors on the device and send alerts to me as before as to playing around as the device is very scentitive. I have checked the signal strength prior to leaving the caravan in the storage field, my main worry was the caravan building materials may disrupt the GPS signal reaching to the satilites as it did not work when playing around inside the house but I was wrong, as I managed to locate my caravan with ease. What I like about the product? I say it's money well spent for me for peice of mind, small, compact, easy to register online and use the app. The 180 days on standby is great for me as I cannot tow between November to end of February due to the field conditions and I live far away from the storage site. Using online website or the app, I can locate the caravan with ease and see if any alerts but you'll also get email alerts too. You can also view the device battery life remotely, speed and sensor scentivity (tilts)on the alerts. Having a caravan with just mains hook up connectivity and no setup for a battery, having this device is a god send to me. The accuracy of locating the device very good.

After using this tracker for a while, I was so happy with the performance that I decided to buy a second one. The accuracy, battery life, and simple setup make it a great choice. I now have one for each vehicle, and it works flawlessly every time. Highly recommended!

Current Problem: Bought tracker, subscribed to monthly fee of GBP 5.99, tracker unfit for purpose, tracker returned, still getting charged monthly subscription fee. 2 emails sent for it...no reply. Getting fed up therefore this customer review, maybe the company reacts to this?? Initially, upon receiving the tracker, I had signed up for a monthly subscription service of GBP 5.99. (The first monthly fee was kindly waived by the company's customer support lady on the telephone.) Since then, I have returned the tracker already, however, for 2 months now, I keep getting charged this monthly fee and I can't seem to be able to stop it and get a refund for it. Also: Productwise, please be aware that the functions of: vibration, motion etc. ONLY ALERT ONCE EVERY 10 MINUTES!!! So if you are not directly at your car or can look out of the window to check, this tracker is useless. As per experience with other, previous trackers, you get repeated alerts every 5 to 10 seconds, while something is going on with/at your car by someone unauthorised...allowing you to get a picture as to the seriousness level of the alert. So if someone tries to break into your car, that may take a minute or 2. Meanwhile, you would have gotten ONLY ONE alert!! ...and if you are out of town, you would not know what is actually going on. Did someone/kids touch the car while walking past/parking next to it??? You would not know. You would then have to wait for 10 minutes to pass to see if there is another alarm and so on. This is ridiculous. Especially when it can take up to 30+ minutes for the alarm to get triggered in the first place. Any car thief would long be off and away with my car. Also: Initially after delivery and trying to set up the tracker: After set up and a lengthy phone call to Germany for assistance, following all the set up verbal instructions and recommendations; because the printed instructions are sparse and not in sequence for set up, problems arose with delay in tracker alert being raised, therefore I tried taking the tracker on the bus to see how it responds. 30 minutes bus ride and no single alarm whatsoever. Same on the way back. I am severely disappointed with this tracker, even though it has very good features on it...if only they would work and would be fit for my purpose. Plus point: The lady who answered the initial email/ phone call, on a Sunday, was very helpful and nice, however, the problems could not be sorted, therefore the tracker was returned and a refund for the tracker was received.

Been using it for more than year now No complaints Battery last quite long and charges quickly even with old usb charger 6£ subscription is bit higher but I can live with it Haven’t tried magnet . Just put tracker under seat App shows quite a few details and app is flawless

Questo è il primo gps personale che acquisto, in passato l'ho avuto ma con le assicurazioni, e vi posso dire che non c'è bisogno di confrontarlo perché quello delle assicurazioni non vale un centesimo. Punto 1: ISTALLAZIONE: scaricate il programma per il cellulare tramite il qr code presente sul pacco, dopo averlo scaricato, si effettua una breve registrazione al sito per crearvi il vostro account e potete scegliere l'abbonamento per far funzionare il gps stesso (io ho attivato il semestrale di 60 €) PS: l'associamento del gps all'app deve avvenire ALL'ESTERNO dell'abitazione in quanto il segnale è debole all'interno, in effetti io stavo avendo problemi e dopo che sono entrato in auto, ho spento il gps, l'ho riacceso e si è collegato velocemente. Punto 2: FUNZIONAMENTO L'app è stata fatta bene, c'è una tendina laterale a sinistra dove si possono scegliere diverse funzioni e un menu principale nella parte inferiore per gestire il gps. Il gps è abbastanza affidabile con i segnali, se a volte è lento a mandare la tracciabilità è perché ha difficoltà la sim a collegarsi alla rete ma non mi posso preoccupare perché come recupera il segnale ti traccia tutto il precorso effettuato. Ha diverse funzioni, come: allarme rimozione gps, allarme velocità, vibrazione/movimento, segnale batteria scarica (al momento c'è l'ho da una settimana ed è al 60%, dipende molto dall'uso del veicolo), avviso geofence, un avviso direi molto utile se l'auto la parcheggiate in un centro commerciale, concerto ecc, sull'app si crea un perimetro variabile intorno all'auto da 1 Mt a 100 km, se l'auto esce dal perimetro arriva la notifica sul cellulare. PUNTO 3: ASSISTENZA Si contatta l'assistenza tramite whats upp, risposte non veloci, non è un prodotto italiano, ma tedesco. Il gps è dotato di calamita abbastanza resistente dalla parte inferiore, attacco biadesivo separato, un cavetto piccolo per ricarica usb.
