Outstanding but not an easy read
I agree with the high praise expressed in other reviews. The book deserves a 5-star rating because Dominion certainly fulfills its purpose to the highest degree. The depth of Father Ripperger's knowledge, expertise, and scholarship comes through and is impressive. He consolidates information from a vast number of sources to support every assertion, which is a great help to a non-expert like myself. The section on authority structures is especially valuable to those of us lay people who want to understand "the rules of the game" related to the spiritual battle in which we are engaged. I have been listening to Youtube recordings of Father Ripperger's conferences for a long time and in reading the book, I could almost hear his voice. What a blessing to have the benefit of his studies and experience in one book.I do have to disagree with those who say it is an easy read, however. With all due respect to Father, I found the syntax occasionally to be awkward and difficult to follow and many of the passages have grammatical errors. This shouldn't dissuade anyone from reading the book, just be aware that it will take time and effort and you may need to re-read several passages and overlook confusing phraseologies to get the intended meaning. (I wondered several times whether or not the book had had an editor). That said, Dominion is a treasury of information that you won't find elsewhere in one volume. It is well worth the effort!

You will refer to this book again and again
Fr. Ripperger is a wealth of knowledge. This book covers everything a lay person should know. Use it in conjunction with his Deliverance prayers for the laity booklet.

Outstanding Composition
Hands down, out of all of my books/resources regarding the Angelic Order, this work by Father Chad is the most in-depth study on the subject. Subsequently I highly recommend this book if you want to study said subject. Father Chad I follow fervently and when he speaks on God….I listen. The book is my most valuable resource insofar as this topic is concerned. I also recommend his book “ Introduction to the Science of Mental Health: Quodlibetal Issues and Practica” as a beneficial precursor study (though I haven’t finished it completely, I must admit).

Demon Psychology and Human Interaction
"Dominion: The Nature of Diabolic Warfare" is not an easy read, but it is an informative book. It is more like a text book then one of those books you just pick up an read. If you are 70 years old you had better invest in an good magnifying glass. The one I use is a 5 inch round. I have been following Father Chad Ripperger several years and he explains things very thoroughly. I don't read his books because I am some kind of ghost buster, that's in the movies. I am a Catholic and we are in a spiritual warfare with the evil. There is a lot cross reference so be patient and use the references.

Enlightening, Empowering, and Liberating!
God's chosen exorcist shares his knowledge and experience in the writing found in this book to benefit us all. He pulls back the curtain on the feared, misunderstood, and often denied spiritual world of angels and demons not seen with our human eyes. Extremely useful information, instruction, and resources for use by all people to call on God's angles and repel Satin's demons. A truly worthy read for anyone seeking greater understanding and strength to fight against evil in the world.

This was really informative
Read this book by Father Ripperger. This book discusses all angels, more the bad than the good. Chapter on guardian angels was fine, informative. What I really liked about it was:1. The organization of it Sometimes more info than I needed to know but that's ok.2. Many times, I was reading "In other words..." which was a GOOD thing for me. I don't always get it the first time.3. Type was a bit small for me but I just had to focus and keep at it.4. So thorough in what is being talked about and footnotes too.5. The footnotes are many, including 4 Amorth books, Aquinas' Summa, books by Cameli, Tanquerey, Nortz, Aumann, De Malo and others with his own comments being an experienced exorcist.6. I love the fact how it explained that demons are angels too. They changed after they rejected doing what they were made for.7. So many times, I see "first...second...third..." and so on.8. Best of all, the table of contents is really an outline of what is written. This REALLY helped me to understand what I was reading, putting what I was reading in context..Thank you, Fr. Ripperger
