beautiful, but not poweful
It is beautiful, but doesn't put out the volume of air that my other fans do. Even on medium speed, it does not put out noticeable air flow.

Cleaning this style is a nightmare!
This fan came with our home. It does look stunning seen though the transom of our double front doors. However I just came down the ladder from cleaning it. The top of the blades are a metal frame that holds the natural palm frond in place with lots of bends and pleats. On a ceiling fan that is running all the time, this is a repository for dust, especially in front of a door and ceiling HVAC vent. I see no suggestions for how to clean this. At various cleanings I have tried damp cloths, electronics canned air, and finally I have resigned myself to vacuuming all the fans four times per year, this one is the worst to deal with. Know that purchasing a fan of this type, you will never get it 'sparkling' clean, unless maybe you have some secret cleaning method-if you do I hope you will share!
