I am redecorating my space and creating a mid century modern vibe. I thought this bookcase would look great and match my coffee table and tv stand - purchased separately. I was right! It is the same wood like finish and looks great with the other pieces. It was also fairly easy to put together. At first I could not find the instructions so I emailed Coaster and they sent me duplicates first thing in the am. But I was able to find them hidden in the packaging. But I was impressed with the speed in which Coaster got back to me and helped me. I highly recommend!

I bought two and absolutely love these things. they look like they could be from West Elm. Great quality. easy to assemble, very sturdy.

I opened the box and discovered there was no hardware included. My apologies, there was ONE metal frame, out of two. Maybe I'll change the rating, if they reply to my email and ship the necessary hardware. I might change it to a two-star review because several of the corners were chipped/dented and there were many other banged up edges. Benefit of the doubt: UPS mishandled it? Even if that were true, the half-inch thick styrofoam on the two sides of the box is certainly not enough protection during shipping. Super bummed by all of this.

This is a nice size unit and the different shelf configurations work for us. Sadly, I didn't put this together for a few months after I bought it and noticed a crushed in spot on one of the vertical sides. Pretty easy to put together and pretty clear directions. I can live with the dent. It still looks nice.

The veneer texture is very cool. It looks like a naturally distressed wood shelf. The bookshelf is sturdier than I thought it would be, too. Putting the shelf together was time consuming, but the instructions were clear, and all the steps necessary to ensure a solid, strong construction. Overall I'm very pleased.

This was fairly easy to assemble. It looks nice the quality is okay. However, some of the dowel holes were not drilled deep enough and when assembled wound up pushing and cracking up some of the particle board on the other side completely messing up the finish! However they do give you way more of the wood cover stickers to cover the screws, so I was able to hide these bubbles by scraping things away then using up some stickers to blend it back in with the finish. For such a large and fairly expensive piece that will be almost impossible or at least insanely expensive to return you would think they put more effort into quality control. It might take them an extra minute or two to get ready/manufacturers but when you weigh the cost of paying one employee for another minute or two vs the cost of return shipping and reshipping your actually saving around $50 to 100 in expenses with each shelf!

Love the products by coaster. Incredibly easy to assemble, even without an automatic drill! I would say my only word of caution for the builder, is make sure you don’t force the wooden pegs into their holes. This can cause the peg to go too far and bust through the nice smooth surface on the other side. Build the bookcase on a hard surface, not carpet if you can avoid it. This will help to not puncture the wood when putting in the pegs. Love they include wood glue as well as stickers that look identical to the wood grain! This covers up any of the holes from screws or bolts.Will absolutely be buying more items from this company!
