I got this on a whim. It’s pretty easy to get started. I think with a tutorial or two to figure out when to use what tool, this kit will help you become a pro in your new hobby. The grip is good, and it’s comfortable to hold. The blades are still sharp after a good bit of use, so they’re pretty durable. And I’m sure they could be sharpened when needed

Christmas present for my son who is a beginner at wood carving. It looks like it’s a very good quality set and seems functional with so many pieces.

My 8 year old loves this kit! I love finding new skills for him to learn instead of utilizing electronics. This is nice because it’s fun but also teaches him to be responsible, patient, and careful.

I received just what I wanted. It is worth the money and more.

The knives are sharp out of the box and work as intended, at least on basswood. The chisels are not so good. Barely any edge on them so if you’re buying for them then you’ll need a way to sharpen them. The carrying pouch is also great. Considering that half of what you get are the poor quality chisels, I have to give this a 3/5 as it’s not usable out of the box. Otherwise it’s a great kit.

Does everything its supposed to, I like the variety in tools they seem good quality and fairly sharp for the price and quantity of tools. The cut glove combo is nice I've almost knicked myself multiple times but it helps protect my hand, gloves a little tight if you have large hands it may not fit comfortably.
