If Jesus Came to My House

This book had been reissued but the artwork had been changed. The book I ordered had the original artwork restored. This version looks very much like the original. The rhyme which was influenced by the Gospel of Matthew is intact, and teaches a child to be generous. A wonderful, timeless child's book.

I keep a copy of this book for myself and have ordered many copies for a child's gift. I also give it to seniors as they love special heartfelt stories that can be followed easily.

This one is like the original in book form. That is actually hard to find. When they reprinted this book in hard cover they used the original content and pictures! That is wonderful. This was my favorite book growing up and stuck with me so much that I can still (at age 74) recite many of the verses. It is an important lesson for all ages really. I bought this for my greatgrandchildren.

This book teaches a very impotant pinciple from the Bible. It is adorable and told in a way that a child can understand and delight in and any adult can be encouraged, too. Great little book. Based a sermon on it.

This is a beautiful copy of "If Jesus Came to My House," but it is not a board book. It is a traditional hardcover book with a removable cover. That said, I love this version so much more than the original version. The pictures are beautiful and story is the same. It is the perfect gift for a baptism, christening, or baby shower.

I was so thankful to find it is still available, even if it is in paperback! It's one of my very favorite children's books that I read to my boys when they were young, and it's still one of their favorites as well. A catchy rhyme that holds children's attentions and encourages them to trust the Lord and be aware of His presence with them. It's an absolutely delightful book!

This was the favorite Christian book given to us for our son, the illustrations are charming and the story (recited in verse) equally so. Not heavy handed, but comforting for young minds.

Wonderful story.A great gift for a christening, holiday or just because. I plan to buy them for my future grand babies.

My 4 year old loves this one being read to him. The storyline is fun and sweet and speaks right to the innocence of a child's heart.

A charming book from the past thatt has lost none of its poignancy, perfect for children who learn by rote and love rhyming verses. The moral of this timeless book is for children and adults. Would recommend to everybody with child like mindset. Delivered on time and safely

I was given the original little book , If Jesus came to my house. In the early 1950s. I was a patient in a. ,convalescent hospital for 2 yes. Unfortunately I don't have the little book now,so I have ordered the new version. I feel emotional about it as being in hospital for that amount of time the book meant so much to me.
