Bit loud but great
This is great only got today but tried already and loving it maybe abit loud to have on while watching a movie as fan is loud but the corn that comes out is great and no oil neededOnly thing I would say is maybe give a plastic spoon to get the last bits out for you don’t burn fingers or have to tip and get those up popped kernels

Almost perfect popcorn
I bought this to replace a different machine which departed in a cloud of smoke after only a few weeks. I'm not ashamed to say that I bought this machine purely based on looks - I loved the whimsical fairground design. I've now had the chance to use this extensively and I'm quite happy with it. It heats up more quickly than the previous machine, and freshly popped popcorn starts flowing easily into a waiting bowl. I would say the ratio of unpopped kernels is about average - as with most machines of this design a proportion of the kernels are dispensed without popping. I initially tried to pick these up and throw them back in, but it became a losing battle so now I accept the sacrifice and enjoy my popcorn.Things I like:The dispenser at the top is good for measuring the right amount of kernelsThe motor is quiet and works efficientlyThe machine looks good on the shelfThings I don't like:The chute for dispensing popcorn is quite wide, so even with a big ceramic mixing bowl, a fair amount of popcorn ends up on the worktopThe machine is quite bulky, so worth taking into account where you plan to store itCompared to my last popcorn machine this seems well made and does the job well.

Disappointing
Spits hot unpopped corn around the place like some sort of Japanese game show challenge,we used saucepan lids as shields the second time we started it up,I had one of these machines same design back in the naughties, and it got borrowed and never gave back,so when my friend's son was having a fairground themed party I bought this for myself and as a sort of prop for the entrance table of the party,it has to cool down for 15mins in-between pops so no good for using at the party,I remembered my old one working fine no unpopped corn no having to dodge flying lava hot hard corn bullets,so was dissatisfied when it burnt my food with hot corn....My grandkids think it is cool and a bit funny that it flings hot corn ,so will keep it and stick to microwave popcorn and only allow my enemies to use it.Corn that was popped tasted fine.
