The product works it just hasn’t stopped the noise transference as we think noise is travelling through ceiling. It has dumbed down reverberation in the room so it does what it is supposed to.

This product - at the price - does an exceedingly job at what it's designed to do. That is to absorb mid to high frequencies being reflected within the room, not sound proof from noisy neighbours. The reduction (in reflection energy) is both audible and measurable, although that is after coating a smooth concrete wall - probably the worst starting point. I wasn't too worried about colour (I bought it for sound control, not aesthetics) but the 'camel' does blend rather nicely with a light sandy/linen-coloured paint. It says that glue isn't provided and it isn't; I used 'spray mount' glue and, well, they glued and are still glued!

This worked well in a cupboard to reduce noise from the boiler.
