Solid brass, works great, comes with rubber washer to seal each end. Great value well built. Seems tough. Easy to use, no stinky propane smell.

They work correctly and adapt larger torch thread to smaller tanks,remember to thread the torch side threads the opposite direction when assembling the two together.
