Love all the scribe marks, embedded markings, and other useful features built in. Best square to have on the jobsite. The brushed metal funish helps cut down on glare when using it on outdoor jobsites, best color in my opinion.

Just got this in the mail today. I’ve watched videos on how many different functions it has and I’ve started using them immediately. It has a good solid weight to it while not actually being heavy, so you can tell it’ll be durable. Its markings are also easy to read. I’m looking forward to using it on my next bench project!

This speed square is so handy. I've been building a dog house and this comes in handy when making sure lines are plumb and level. I still have to learn all the different uses for this and I'm sure the more I use it the more I will learn. I recommend this to anyone looking to have an easy way of finding angles while working with wood or other materials.

I'm a DIYer, not a pro, but after watching enough videos of woodworkers and learning about the effectiveness, durability, and functionality of the Swanson, I tried this. Since then, I became dedicated to the tool just like the pros. It's not always the most exact with measurements but is very dependable when establishing a right angle is needed. And, even though it's so sturdy it's the only tool I toss without concern for damaging it. Finally, it's one of the few tools I can think of that is genuinely a deal pricewise.

This tool is very solidly built, and the markings are very visible. This thing will probably last many many years.

very good speed square for rafters or as a skilsaw guide. wide opening is important as a saw guide so you can get your fingies in there.

such a handy little tool, from pitching roofs to just using it to very easily cross cut timber perfectly square with a skillsaw... i use it every day and wouldnt be without it!
