Strong citrus smelling, and all natural
Very strong citrus smell, I like this over chemical and deet. Comes out inna very fine mist so it should last a while. you will smell very citrus like for awhile. used it a few times in the woods, I will be using it more and will update if I notice it doesn't work at all.

Works just as well as DEET
Solid stuff, works well. Went camping multiple nights, dog was covered in ticks sleeping next to me. I was unscathed. Nice not having to douse myself and my child in DEET. Use it to check on my bees and hike through my woods with the invasion of lonestar ticks from global warming and everyone cutting all the woods down, farmers with more cattle to feed on and less habitat for ticks to live in.

Does it's job
Nice product. Seems to work great. It doesn't have a offending smell like others I have used. I like the fact that I can also use it on my dog with no problems. Sprayer work well and doesn't clog like others I have used.

Great scent, a little strong if sprayed indoors
I have ticks and chiggers galore, and I inspect beehives about 700 feet away from my house thru a pasture of overgrown forage. I bought this to hope it would reduce the chigger bites I got when I went out to the hives, and can say, it didn't just reduce them, but eliminated them almost completely.Does not take much, and have spent a few hours out in the field with virtually no bites, and absolutely no ticks.Highly recommend this if you go camping, work a farm, have a decent sized yard or have biting insects. It is bee safe since it is basically only a repellent and not a toxin, but it works!Price is quite worth it. Very large bottle since you really only need 1 or two squirts. the sprayer shoots a very fine mist, so it covers quite a bit of area, so use it outside. Smell is really nice, and most of the oils used are also used in bee lures, but it not going to draw bees to you unless there is a flying swarm very near, but the bees would not bother you in that case either. It's a calming scent to them, not an attack

It Actually Works!
I have a golden retriever who is a magnet to ticks. She always has her head down smelling plants or grass. I try to walk in areas without vegetation to avoid ticks, but it's not always possible. We are in the peak of our wet season and ticks are everywhere around us. We live win an area with a lot of deer. I would find ticks alive on her head and remove them before they bite. But I am worried I'll miss one and it will get one of us in bed. She is on flea and tick meds, so I am not worried about her. I've been spraying Yaya Tick Ban on her immediately before each walk or hike. I put it on my hands and rub it on her head and under her chin (yes, I wash my hands well after application). I am amazed that she isn't getting ticks. If I forget to apply Tick Ban, she comes home with a tick crawling on her head. Tick Ban seems to wear off fast. I can tell because the smell dissipates. BTW, the smell isn't bad. It's basically essential oils. I am very happy with how it has been working for us.

I still attracted ticks
PRO: The smell is surprisingly decent. My nose isn’t always a fan of lemongrass, but this doesn’t smell bad and I don’t mind being covered in the scent.CON: After hiking on trails and with permethrin-treated shoes, I still found a tick crawling up my leg.PRO: Went hiking the next day with Tick Ban as a base coat and then used some spray with deet, and did not have any ticks. Did occasionally need the deet bug spray to keep mosquitoes away.TAKEAWAY: It’s not 100% but it does seem to help, but most efficient when combined with other products. As a person in remission from a nasty battle with Lyme disease, it’s important to provide honest reviews for those trying to protect their families. I’d feel comfortable using it on my dog, but my real success has been permethrin-treated shoes/clothing. I also sprayed permethrin on my car seats. I haven’t had any issues with ticks since doing that, and I am still a lover of the outdoors and hike often. If you are anti-chemicals, this still is a good option, but use it frequently, and keep in mind you will still attract mosquitoes. And always, do your tick checks and take a shower before sitting down when you get home from a day enjoying the outdoors. 💚

YaYa works!
We live in the country and spend a lot of time in the woods. My husband and I kept getting ticks. I don’t like to use insect spray with lots of chemicals on a daily basis. Someone recommended YaYa so we tried it and it really keeps the ticks off. When my last order arrived however, the bottle leaked all over the box.

Not worth it
This does not work. There was no difference in when I used this on my dog and when I did not. I absolutely soaked him in it and within 5 mins of both walks (tried twice) there were ticks on him and we were walking on gravel with some grass.
