Lovely color, soft well carded wool, and a good tight weave to keep me warm. There is no strong lanolin odor like inexpensive blankets tend to have. It is perfect and well worth the premium price.

I’ve had trouble finding a comfortable blanket to fit my king bed that had good overhang on both sides. I have sinus problems and need to sleep in a cool room (with an open window) but want to stay warm and cozy underneath the covers. I bought this blanket to have under my relatively light summer bedspread but still with enough heft to keep us comfortable under the air conditioning. This one is surprisingly soft. It’s perfect for inside use in cool, not cold temperatures.I plan to order another for my guest room.

Bought this blanket with high hopes that the blanket would be worth the money spent. I was not disappointed in the least. The blanket has a soft, supple feel against your skin. There is a bit of stiffness at first but with everyday use the blanket has become more and more soft. No pilling or loose wool fibers. The blanket keeps your temp regulated and sleeping throughout the night. Would highly recommend as a generational gift to be passed down.

This blanket has been one of my best Amazon purchases. It is a little lighter than I had expected, but it still provides enough warmth for me. The generous size is perfect for a queen bed and would be adequate for a king. This blanket is made from wool, a natural fibre, and to me does not feel scratchy at all. Even if it did, I put a sheet underneath it. (Doesn’t everyone?) The colour grey is lovely -- please refer to my photographs to see how beautifully it fits in with my decor. I am thrilled with the appearance of this gorgeous blanket and know I will use it for many years. Thank you, Biddy Murphy, for bringing this Irish-made blanket to North America.

The blanket fits our king bed perfect and the blanket adds just enough warmth. It seems a lot of the blankets you purchase today fits the bed lengthwise but not the width. If one turns in bed it takes the blanket from your partner. This blanket does not. The color is very nice and we are satisfied. Not sure about the cleaning yet since it is wool, but I am sure we will manage.

I purchased this blanket in March 2021 an at the time I thought it was too expensive. I was getting it as a gift and if I had known the quality, I would have returned it. I purchased a king size and I have never seen such a large king blanket. It hangs over approx 18" on each side of a king bed. The blanket is quite thin to be wool. One of my main issues is that the blanket pills very badly. I have the pills all over the floor and on any sheet or other blanket/comforter it touches. I'm surprised that as thin as it is, the blanket does keep warmth in. HOWEVER, this was a gift and I did not know of these issues. Otherwise, I would have returned it. The blanket was very overpriced, thin, and pills considerably all over the floor and other items it touches. My mistake, but I'm very unhappy with the product and would never recommend it to anyone.

I am really excited about this blanket! Perfect weight, very large, very soft (anyone who calls this blanket scratchy should just buy a polyester one), and it's the prettiest heathery purple. Looks great on my antique bed. VERY, very pleased with this purchase! I ordered a king so it's more like a bedspread-I make my bed up weird for an American I guess. Would highly recommend this blanket.
