Bosch Cordless Grass Trimmer EasyGrassCut 18V-26 (Without Battery, 18 Volt System, Cutting Diameter: 26 cm, in Carton Packaging)

Very happy with my first cordless strimmer. I already have a lightweight corded Bosch strimmer which I love, but wanted to have the freedom of no cable attached. This cordless model I still feel is lightweight, although meaty battery attached. It’s performance is excellent and I can’t believe how long the battery has lasted, considering I had a large area to strim round. As usual I can’t fault Bosch again. So easy to assemble and comfortable to hold/operate. Sturdy construction too.I am small in height and have health issues, so was important to have a lightweight machine that felt comfortable and easy to use. I got a great priced bundle too. What’s not to like.

Absolute game-changer for us in managing our garden and lawn. Works brilliantly dealing with weeds and grass. Took us a while to figure out how to install and lock in the spool and once we did, all good. We have spent hundreds of pounds paying someone to help strim the weeds etc. We can now easily do it ourselves when needs must. Lightweight and excellent results. We have other Bosch products so were able to use the same batteries for this strimmer. Should have bought this a lot sooner!!

As a lightweight strimmer, this does the job very well. It's a bit more expensive than the competition (I only bought this one as I already have the batteries from my other tools), but it does the job fine and is well-balanced and easy to use.It's not got the power of a mains-powered or petrol unit, but neither has it got any of the faff that is associated with those other options.Works great for those 'little and often' jobs.

As a lady living on my own, I have to put any new appliances together myself. The first that struck me was the size of the box. This is because you have to clip the pieces of the shaft together. There wasn’t any pictorial clues as to how to put it together. Each part of the shaft has a protection ring, which you have to remove before snapping the rods in place. That’s the big that threw me. So I watched a video of how to do it. (cheat). Once these rings are removed, the parts of the shaft snap into place. Apparently once the shaft is clipped together, you can’t undo it again. Then you attach the guard, pretty straightforward. There is a raised screw which you have to tighten to hold the guard in place. There wasn’t a battery with my trimmer, but I have several of them for my other Bosch products. A brilliant product, light and effective.

Purchased for light duty strimming of lawn edges as an alternative to conventional shears. Very impressed with the speed and ease of use. Considerably faster and easier. The adjustable wire spacer allow you to strim right up to the gravel board without actually eating it away. It also works very well when you rotate the head through 180 degrees to tidy up edges next to a path. The wire spacer supports the strimmer at exactly the right height if you run it along the path (rather than the grass) and takes the weight of the strimmer while you strim. Did all I wanted to do without needing a recharge, probably 20 mins work so I don't yet know how long a single charge lasts.

I have used this strimmer for three weeks now, I am a professional gardener, I needed a small battery powered strimmer to use on my client's gardens where my large petrol strimmer is too powerful. I am totally impressed with this machine. It is light, powerful and a dream to use. The gardens I work on are large and a battery lasts for around 1 1/2 gardens, not much you might think, I have 4 batteries! These I already had as I purchased two combi drills that came with two batteries each. So I have plenty of power to last all day for me. Now about the auto feed averytime you start the strimmer that others have mentionedas a negative. If when using it you stop it frequently then you will go through line very quickly. What I do is not stop it unless absolutely necessary. This has two positives, 1. You don't use line unnecessarily 2. You dont use power unnecessarily. If you start stop all the time it uses more battery powerand line.Overall I would recommend this strimmer, especially if you already have "one 4 all" batteries. You just have to get used to using it in a different way.

I decided to go for this simpler designed Bosch EasyGrassCut 18V-26 strimmer as the previous Bosch strimmer I purchased (UniversalGrassCut 18V-260 strimmer with folding handle ) was poorly designed and parts wore out or broke over it short life. The Bosch EasyGrassCut 18V-26 strimmer came in a very small box as the long handle is in 3 parts. I could not find any assembly instructions on the box or any of the supplied user manual / paperwork but worked out you had to remove the rubber bungs and slot the three parts together until they clicked in place and use a screwdriver to fit the safety cover in place over the strimmer head. In fact the user manual / paperwork is fairly useless being in dozens of languages and in very small print. What useful information there is buried deep amongst 95% of information of no or little use. The product itself feels very robust and works well but time will tell how long it lasts .

Easy to use lightweight strimmer. Excellent value for money.
