Pearls from Pearls
What can I say, I love Pearls. Now that newspapers are publishing less regularly, and delivery is unreliable, this is a great way to catch up on the world of Pearls. I do wish their were more gators though.

Funny, sarcastic
I got this Treasury after reading another given to me. As was the case for the other volume, Hogs was most enjoyable Stephan does a terrific job in allowing us to see ourselves and others in amusing ways, while spinning the English language in thoughtful slants.. Really like Sthphan's work

Another great Pearls treasury! But is that Staci???
Pearls just keeps getting funnier, and I love the comments between the strips. Although I'd love to have a complete Pearls collection, I've learned to hold off on the smaller books and wait for the Treasuries, since they include the same strips and the comments.Another great cover, by the way, and fun outtake pictures on the inside covers. Is the attractive young lady on the cycle Staci? If she isn't, now we know why Staci left the cartoon version of Pastis.p.s. Hardcore Pearl fans might also wonder if the dude in the door is Emilio.

My favorite cartoon !!
Stephan Pastis never fails to delight his fans. Pig, Rat and Goat are some of my favorite people !!

Hilarious, as always.
My favorite part of the treasuries is the commentary. I find that each character except Larry represents a piece of me. Sometimes I am innocent and optimistic like Pig and sometimes I can be a little bit evil like Rat.

Next time i buy the print version
I laughed a lot out loud during the first half. not sure what happened during the second half but I figure if I didn't laugh out loud it was more on me. I bookmarked the funniest ones but it's a Kindle so I don't know how to get back to the bookmarks. Bookmarking is a nice feature but next time I buy the print version and use post-it notes. All kidding aside this was a real pick-me-up during the quarantine. And for my birthday next month my friend is getting me two more in print. My Post-It notes are ready.

Certainly one of the most consistently funny and original comic strips ever
How can you not revere Rat, Pig and the rest of the Stephan Pastis menagerie?Certainly one of the most consistently funny and original comic strips ever. Just unparalleled in its dark edgy humor--always done with a wink and with tongue firmly in cheek.5 stars are not nearly enough

A very special edition of "Pearls"
Pastis is a hilarious comic strip author. This treasury is extra special because it contains the strips and Pastis' story of working with Calvin and Hobbes creator, Bill Watterson. I bought the Kindle version, but might by the paper edition of this book, too. If you are at all a PBS fan, buy this book!

My favorite
This book is eveything. I love this comic a lot and the little comments on the pages gave some sincerity and humor only he can do. I love it.!!

I enjoy the comments
Usual Pasitis high standard- formatted very well for my mini I-pad- no resizing to read. I enjoy the comments.
