My Dog T Loves to Chew on these Beef Tendons

Yesterday my 8 month old Dachshund spent in the ER ward at the Vet Hospital in Palm Springs. He woke at 3:15 AM convulsing, almost seizure like- would not eat or drink water, was extremely weak and obviously not feeling well. Took him in for Triage and he was pretty sick…. After the exam the vet ran a battery of blood test, gave him an infusion for his dehydration and could not identify what the issue was. Last night when I took him on his walk, he passed about 1/2 of a Chew Bone… he was suddenly bouncing around like a normal puppy…. The package does have a statement that the dogs should be under supervision while chewing on them. Take it seriously! I wasn’t sure he would be coming back home.

Excellent treats for both adult dogs and puppies that love to chew.These are longer than most treats and tended to suffer some tug and pull events with the puppies. We gave the adults theirs in their crates so they could enjoy them without the puppies attempting to steal theirs.They last longer than many other types of chews, are tough but flexible.They have no objectionable odor either before or after being chewed. They do tend to stick to blankets or dog beds after being chewed but the dogs can easily pull them free and don't seem to mind a bit of fluff stuck to them.

I bought these for my 49 lbs dog and she finished in in about 5 min. These bones may be long, they are for smaller dogs

What I like:Not harmful to their tummies.Long-lasting.All three of my dogs like them.Easy to treat to take on vaca, camping, etc.

I’m not through the bag yet, but I found one that was shorter than 7 inches.

I wasn't too impressed with these treats, although two of my three dogs liked them just fine. My other dog wouldn't go near them which was unusual because she's never met a treat she didn't like.I was worried when I gave these to my dogs that they would choke on them because of their shape. Luckily they didn't but that would be a worry for me - they're shaped kind of like a large edible fork, and it just seemed to me they could easily be choked on.As I said my other two dogs liked them just fine, and they seemed to last a pretty long time. I just personally wouldn't buy them again because they look like a choking hazard.
