I would buy again. Sturdy and have a sharp point. Penetrates thick material and hold in place well.

I use these large safety pins on my two rather classic matching black leather sofa chairs. Overtime the leather started to wear down. I'm not even sure you can find this exact model anymore, certainly not for the lower price of years ago. Re-upholstering them is a bit of a financial hit, especially in these uncertain times. However, Amazon offers leather cushion seat covers, arm rest covers, and a nice partial cover for the backing. These black safety pins subtly anchor all the items so they don't slip. Black is black and for my guests, no one notices the difference. They just lapse into utmost comfort and we carry on hanging out with each other.These are large and strong and it takes a bit to push them through leather. Do it slowly so you don't puncture your fingers. Be sure to punch the sharp end out with about ⅓ inch to cap it close. Then you have to apply some finger strength to clip it close. They work great.I also have a lot of large pillows on a flat Tibetan style low sofa-bed. I can see using them to seal the pillows if in the future, the zippers flay loose or break.

these are sturdy and well made. the point isn't as sharp as I'd hoped, but they are working to keep things in place

Just great for my crafting. Sturdy. I’ve seen others reviews where they said the pins were not sharp I must have gotten lucky because mine are VERY sharp. Pretty colors too.

Made well. Can't wait to use them! Love the plastic package they came in for keeping them all together.

I like the size of the pen, but it is very hard to push them through.
