Quick, fun, and educational
My kids play this game almost every car ride. It’s quick, simple, and really fun to play. The educational value is great because they learn about tanks while strategizing. The functionality and quality are solid, with durable cards that hold up to repeated use. Overall, it’s a fantastic mix of fun and learning, and definitely great value for money.

Fun game but gets boring after a while
Generally a fun game, especially for someone with kids interested in tanks. However, very repetitive after a while.

I don’t really understand this game…
First, let me say that my 5 yo son is obsessed with tanks, so this was a no brainer. The cards have cute pics of tanks and fun tank facts (most of which he already knew, honestly). I’ve never played “Top Trumps” before this so I learned that the game is basically a form of the card game “War”, wherein you pick the highest of the 5 stats on your card and use that to “battle” your opponent: if your card’s stat is higher than theirs in that category, you win that round. The problem is, for fully 2/3 of the cards in the deck, the highest stat is “spotting”… 🤔 So it gets pretty monotonous and unexciting (especially for a 5 yo) when the vast majority of the battles in the game, instead of being based on something like “firepower” (or even “mobility”), are based on… “spotting”. I don’t get it.

My children love facts about tanks so this immediately appealed to them. It’s an easy game and has been a fun activity for the family to get us away from digital tech.
