We noticed that my daughter’s food eaten from this plate has an unpleasant taste to it unfortunately. Is that normal for food grade silicon?

Silicone is an odourless material. However, some strong smelling soaps and dishwasher detergents can become absorbed. To rectify this issue we recommend the following methods, depending upon the strength of the odour: Place silicone tableware in boiling water to sterilize it. Submerge it in a mixture of hot water and white vinegar (one cup of vinegar to 2 cups of water ratio). Leave for 30 minutes and then clean with a sponge or cloth. Coat the tableware with a mixture of white vinegar and baking soda (one tablespoon of white vinegar to two tablespoons of baking soda). Leave it to sit overnight. Rinse with water to remove the mixture. Some dishwashing detergents also cause tableware to hold on to certain smells. In order to prevent this, please allow enough space between the products to allow the detergent to rinse off properly and use the steam or dry setting. Hope this helps!

The plate measures 23.5cm x 15cm x 3cm and the bowl 12.5cm x 115cm x 5.5cm.

If this set including cover for cutlery too?

No it just includes the cutlery. The travel case comes with the separate cutlery set only.

Lovely set

Bought mainly for the bowl with the lid for on the go snacks, but the plate is lovely too. The lip isn’t too high so baby can see everything on the plate which is helpful!

Great baby dinner set

Great quality and really useful. Love that it’s easy to clean and use. The bowl has a sucker on the base so won’t tip over.

Fantastic!

We love it! Both the plate and bowl have great suction and my baby loves picking out food from the ears :) the spoon and fork are also very good with a nice weight to them, great for practicing feeding herself right now.

Lovely set but baby can pull the bowl and plate off

Love the knife and fork, but the plate and bowl comes off very easily. The suction isn't great unfortunately, it's a shame but luckily my baby doesn't pull it off much. Still great though but my stars reflect the suction.

Best quality

Absolutely in love with this set, simply the best quality I have tried so far. The suction is fantastic and the quality of both forks and spoon are brilliant, my toddler can actually fully use them. Would recommend this set to all parents.

Plate doesn't stick

The design is lovely but unfortunately the plate doesn't stick. The bowl is ok and the fork and spoon are good but we needed a plate that sticks to the table/tray and this was useless.

Looks good, but not so practical

This review is written after for months I bought this plate set for my niece.The plate doesn't really stick on the table especially when the table was spilled with liquids. So many times it was lifted and thrown and banged around as toys. The little flap that supposed to unstuck the plate was torn by my eighth month niece after two months of use.The bowl works well as the container to carry around, but again, the suction isn't when it's come to a wet surface.

It’s okay.

This looks really nice and I had high hopes for it but I still turned my back for one second and the plate was being waved upside down 🤣. A few seconds later the non spill cup was being tipped and straw being bent and my little girl was splashing in the water 😆
