Keeps the sun off my skin and also gives me a little protection from the wind. I put sandbags on the legs to keep it steady. Nice way to have a little privacy on a crowded beach.

I knew this wasn't a heavy duty chair, I haven't seen one in this style that is. It didn't buckle or fall apart when a 300 lb person sat it in. They said the width was comfortable. The instructions are very lacking. I read some reviews and the one by Melissa helped a lot when it came to that center pole overhead and how to keep the canopy from collapsing. Make better instructions and you might have more 5 star ratings. I wish it wasn't quite so tall. I'm 5' 6" and it kind of digs in the back of my upper legs when sitting in it for very long. Other than that I think I will enjoy having a shady spot during that time of evening the patio umbrella doesn't help shade me.

Freaking amazing chair! Im not huge but im tall so im about 20 shy of 300lbs and this takes my weight like its nothing! Also the canopy is perfect for when im out there selling my jewelry and crafts out in the sun cause i tan like an Irish man! Was pretty windy and held up great and very surdy! The windows on each side are handy if you want that extra ventilation and i get hot easy but i was comfortable and i was out in direct sunlight! Also has a pocket sewn into the canopy for a fan i believe.

This product is very cheaply made. It is not worth a third of what it actually costs. For starters, the canopy would not stay up. And the instructions were atrocious. Where exactly does the collapsible crossbar go exactly? I fiddled with it for an hour or more and decided it wasn't worth the headache and decided to send it back. I spend a lot of time outdoors for certain sporting events and thought this chair would be at least usable. I already have a covered chair, but I liked the idea of a canopy, but, alas, not meant to be. And it practically takes to people to close the thing back up and rebag it. My other umbrella chair, it is all 1 piece. This is a good idea, and if they make it less flimsy and not so difficult to stay up, I might consider purchasing again. But not this product. And for the record, I do not actually do reviews often, which should tell you how I feel about this item.

I wanted an inexpensive chair with arched hood like a baby carriage. After searching for months, I finally found it. I purchased some mosquito netting, added Velcro and magnets to it and made my own removable bug screen. It was cheaper than buying the one with the netting attached AND it was in the shape I wanted. I use this chair at concerts and outdoor events. I am very happy with this product.

Just got it today and it took less than 5 minutes to set up. I'm 5'8" and it sets a little high off the ground, my feet barely touch. I'm looking forward to taking it to the lake and sitting in the shade.Update: used it at the lake and a leg/arm bracket broke 😩 I can still sit in it for now but I'm not sure how long it will last. I got several compliments on the chair and I really like it. I could sit and watch my granddaughters play in the water while I stayed out of the sun. The side windows are great for letting in the breeze but zip them up for privacy while on the phone.

I mean.....it's very meh. The canopy does what it says, it blocks the sun, but it is very thin and it feels very, very cheap. Like, I am not even sure after putting it back in the bag that it will unfold properly. And the instructions! Ha! What a joke. I really wanted to love this chair but the quality is just too poor.
