When I first saw these, I thought they might be cute looking but not much else. When I received them, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the blades are a good 3/32" thick. Not the paper thin little cheese spreaders you often see. You wont bend these very easily even if you try. These are really very well made, real wood on the handles, good strong rivets. The blades are not especially sharp, but sharp enough to give you cut if you tried, and I am sure they can be sharpened to a very good edge. I would not expect them to hold an edge like a good carbon steel blade, but that is not what I was looking for. Bottom line, they really are cute, and they are strong and well made. Get a few, you won't be disapointed.

These are so cute! In a "you WILL cut yourself if you aren't careful" kinda way. They ARE sharp and will be perfect for opening envelopes and boxes and such. These aren't flimsy. The blades are thick and do have a sharp edge to them. I'm gifting these to my kids and my friend and now I'm going to order more because I want one for myself.

I purchased this for my husband for our anniversary. He is a huge forged in fire fan and so I knew the Damascus look would appeal, but super surprised that there are real knives just tiny. Sharp, and amazing looking. Perfect gift, and I’ll be getting more for Christmas for friends and family. The packaging was well done and it shipped quickly. If I could give 6 stars I would.

Like many people who have already posted, mine came with a thank you card and a Captain America keychain. Very cute, seems sturdy. Small (exactly how it was described) but perfect to open my Amazon packages. Will make a cute stocking stuffer for my family since my husband collects knives. I was impressed.

Wife likes miniatures, so I bought these. They are nice quality steel and very sharp. Not very functional unless you're cutting really small things, but still pretty cool. Now if they would only come out with a mini knife block to hold them in, that would be awesome.

My brother in-law had a set of butcher knives in his wishlist. I bought him the set, and as a bonus, I got this one as a gag gift. It was the best prank in the entire world!!! It turns out, he reaaaaaaaaallllyy wanted that knife set, and when he unwrapped this, he was sad, confused, angry, all while trying to be polite!! Tears were even welling up in his eyes!! We went on with the joke and encouraged him to help the kids open packages with his "new knife set." I expressed how proud I was to know exactly what he wanted for Christmas and now he's using it right after unwrapping it. In fairness, this mini set is very sharp and the sheaths are extremely well made. When he finally opened the real gift, he immediately realized we successfully pranked him and we got him real good!!! Best purchase ever!!!

My brother said he wanted a knife set for Christmas and this was the perfect gag gift before we gave him the actual set of course. These things are actually sharp and should be treated as knives and not just toys!
