Patchouli Garden - Patchouli Lotion 8 ounces

I was skeptical about purchasing a patchouli scent blindly because it can smell like dirt, be too strong, too faint etc. Initially, I tried a minuscule amount to test the strength of the scent to see if it was going to be a pleasant patchouli. I’m happy to announce that the scent is spot on and the lotion itself is lovely and very moisturizing. I needed only a small amount to apply to my shins & forearms which seem to always be the driest and itchiest during the colder months. I have since purchased the shower gel and can’t wait for it to arrive. XXOO

I mean I love patchouli, but I love this one in particular. It's a great product with great packaging. Just look at that label! I love having it on my bathroom shelf, I love having it on my body. Another small plus is the lack of a big plastic pump - just tip it upside down and squeeze some out. Will order this again and again and again...

When I ran out of the Aging Hippy patchouli and tried to order more, I found it unavailable, I was really disappointed. Then I discovered Patchouli Garden! As far as I can tell (and other posters have said the same) it's as good as Aging Hippy! Maybe even the same formula? I really don't use it for moisturizing, but for just a dash of pleasant and lasting aroma vs after shave lotions.

We really like this product. Have purchased it several times. If you're an aging Boomer who remembers the 70's you'll love this lotion. Smells great (if you like Patchouli). The fragrance does not last as long as we would like, but otherwise very nice.

OMG! This scent is absolutely, positively 70's for me who is going to be 70 in April of 2026! I put this on in the morning yesterday and went to Walgreens in Bad Axe, Michigan, and a woman I was helping in photo at the kiosk told me she LOVES my scent and asked what it was. I told her it was Patchouli lotion from Patchouli Garden located in Wisconsin. I told her it's a small business run by women and I just recently found them on Amazon. I asked her how she could smell a lotion, since it's not perfume. She said she had a sensitive nose. My nose doesn't smell as well from a sinus infection many, many moons ago. I was absolutely thrilled she could smell my Patchouli. So, ladies of Patchouli Garden, keep up the good work. I ordered two more patchouli lotions and I see they are already shipped. One is the Patchoulli Vanilla and the other is Patchouli Love. I know I will love these just as much. I am so happy God guided me to you. Thank you! The 2nd Patchouli lotion I ordered (cause I ordered 2 a couple weeks ago) I sent to my twin sister in Illinios. Originally, I bought 2 for myself, but then I thought she'd like it as well and shipped it yesterday to her. Now, that I know you are always here on Amazon, I can reorder anytime and I will! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and thank you again!!! Oh, and thank you for the soap you sent when I mentioned the Patchouli oil leaked. I wiped it all dry and told you I loved it. I use it at night. But you gave me my money back and you send me the wonderful orange soap which I am using. It bubbles wonderfully but you didn't have to do that cause I was already a satisfied customer, just wanted to mention that the cap may not have been screwed on tightly and who knows what happens in transit during this busy holiday season. Scent is very strong and bottle was damaged on arrival. Still useable and decent moisturizer.

Nice cream and has a nice patchouli fragrance.

This used to be the most wonderful lotion ever! With the best patchouli scent imaginable. Then I got the last order of it and everything changed. The ingredients are completely different. The lotion is slimy and it now smells like mothballs. The scent lingers and is difficult to wash off. I've been purchasing this for years and am so disappointed that those who make this think the new formula is acceptable. Sadly, I must now search for a replacement because I certainly will never buy this brand again.
