These extenders are awesome!
The extenders work perfectly! The knurled sleeves grip my shortened pencils nice and tightly and won’t let go until I loosen them. Perfect for extending the life of pencil nubs that I might have thrown away. Once the nubs are secured they are just like having nice long pencils! They are really nice looking too! Definitely recommend!

Worked well with 8 of the different pencil types I commonly use
I have personally used these holders on the following pencils and the holders worked just fine: CarbOthello pastel pencils, General's charcoal pencils, PrismaColar Scholar color pencils, Ritmo charcoal pencils, Staedtler Mars Lumograph pencils, Faber-Castell Pitt charcoal pencils, Derwent Graphic pencil, Derwent Sketching pencil (fit but just barely) and finally, Faber-Castell Graphite Aquarelle pencils DID NOT fit. I have 10 of these holders now and all showed the same level of quality of construction so I think they will hold up. I find them comfortable to hold. Before buying anything I always read the worst reviews as part of evaluating the product. A number of people complained that these holders didn't work for any of the pencils they had. My experience with the products listed above was just the opposite. Mind, when you tighten, you have to twist a bit but my 73-old arthritic hands could do it so I believe most people should be able to make these work too. Finally, price was significantly better than many of the other extenders out there. All in all, I'm happy.

Beautifully done quality
Same simplicity and functionality as the Derwent extenders. Similar quality. Extenders are a good weight, are strong, and hold securely (tested with Prismacolors, and Polychromos (see correction below); they are unlikely to work Derwent or with regular graphite pencils). They allow for even the shortest pencil nubs, and will hold longer pencil stubs by allowing them to slide further into the extender barrel (unlike the solid wooden extenders I have used before). Also, the extenders are beautiful with enameled-like barrels. Because these are smoother than the Derwent extenders they slide in and out of Pencil case loops more easily. Finally, they are cheaper than the Derwent extenders and give one 5 rather than 2 pieces. I have bought these twice now and highly recommend them. Correction, please note: because of contrary posts on this I tried all of the extenders with polychromos pencils rather than just the original one. Only one of the five fit these pencils easily or fairly easily. I would now say they do NOT fit polychromos or Derwent.

Very Pretty, But Not For All Pencils
These pencil extenders are nice-looking and fairly sturdy, and will work well for thinner pencils such as Prismacolor, Derwent Graphite, Chromaflow (?), and other slim pencils. They will not work for Faber-Castell Polychromos, Caran D'ache, Conte Pastel Pencils, or Derwent Inktense pencils (among others). Too bad. The holder is too narrow for the pencils to fit in. A hack might be to shave the pencils down before inserting them into the holder. The description said they were good for hex pencils...not the ones I use, unfortunately. I like these holders, but I would recommend them with a caveat.

The BEST pencil nub extender you can purchase PERIOD!
I had a number of extenders in addition to a set of these and it took only a short time for all others (especially the wooden ones that have a metal end with a wire you push up to hold pencil in place) either broke completely or simply didn't work. The other aluminum ones look the same but they are not. They are a cheap imitation of these. My first set has been in use for close to a year without any problem. I have so many pencils that are far too expensive to just toss out when they have been sharpened down so that only a nub remains. If you pay 1.00 to 5.00 PER PENCIL you don't want to toss out an inch of the lead. When you have just a nub remaining it is very difficult to hold the pencil nub correctly. The extenders don't hold it so tightly that you can put the pencil nub into an electric sharpener. There are many sharpeners which you can use manually that will accommodate just a nub. I highly recommend the German made M & R brass sharpeners. They have blades which can be erased and are superior to other sharpeners overall, but best of all you can sharpen the pencil when only a nub remains. I have been shocked by how short of a pencil nub you can still sharpen with this sharpener. I had one where I used ALL the lead and had only about a half inch of casing end left. These hold all my pencils. I have found that the Caran d'Ache Luminance are a bit thicker pencil so you need to unscrew to enlarge the opening before inserting the pencil and then rotating back to hold the pencil securely. I have hexagonal shaped pencils that these hold as well as round ones. About a month ago I ordered a second set as I have so many nubs and want to use them all up if possible. I know I am lazy and could just change the nub in and out. I find it far easier to put each nub in their own extender as I can then put them in my pencil holder. Otherwise you are sorting through all these nubs. I will try to get a photo to show how I use these. While you could store them in a cup, I really like a holder that seperates each pencil and keeps them upright. At one point this company made another set which had Christmas holiday patterns. I love the marbled look of these. They are very classy in appearance. So functionality with good lucks is not often found and makes these my go to pencil extenders.

La compra muy bien, llego todo correcto y en plazo. En cuanto al material en sí, solo lo he usado un rato pero tiene buena pinta. De imagen muy bonitos.

Finally, pencil extenders that fit the wider coloured pencils. They are a bit expensive, but they work great.

Art-n-Fly Pencil Extender Set of 5 Pencil Lengthener for Colour Pencils from Amazon work well you have to put the silver part on first because it is a little snug if you can deburr the sharp edge with some emery it slips on perfect.
