The microfiber is high quality, durable material that won't scratch my car. I love the underside of the sponge, which is specifically designed to remove bugs. I also like how thick it is, which makes it easier to clean my rims since I can clean with both sides of the sponge at the same time. It also has a handle on the back, but to be honest, I rarely use the handle.

Super soft sponge, perfect for car washing without fear of scratching the paint. Dries quickly once finished as well.

Excellent product works fabulous. Would highly recommend to family and friends.

This is my first product I purchased from the Chemical Guys brand. I always felt like most of their stuff was overhyped and overpriced so I felt like it wasn't worth spending more for their products. However, what caught my attention was that this sponge came with an elastic strap so you can fit your hand in it and not be dropping the sponge everywhere. I decided to give it a try since that stood out to me over other similar sponges by other brands that did not have that strap.My first impressions were that the sponge is very soft and the microfiber is decently dense. It didn't feel cheap like those $1 sponges from walmart. Upon use, I can say that it cleans well and the strap is a pretty nice feature to have. However, the downfall is that after only one use, the strap has already become quite loose. I don't have large hands so I can only imagine how bad it could be with a larger person using it. Nonetheless, the sponge does its job and the strap does make the sponge feel nice and secure while it lasts. It's not terribly expensive, so if the strap interests you, then I'd say to give it a try.

FIVE STARS!THE DETAILS:Although I wasn’t sure I’d really need them, I bought two of these awesome chenille sponges for washing our St. Bernard puppy. As it turned out — especially 4 months of age & already 50 lbs of wiggly, furry fun — having something ultra absorbent for wetting her down, applying the shampoo & getting her rinsed off proved to be just the ticket!Like human babies of a certain age, everything currently goes in the pup’s mouth — plus she absolutely LOVES to play-fight with the hose, particularly when there is water pouring out of it!A garden hose had worked just fine over the summer when hosing off muddy paws & the like. But, shortly into her first real bath, it soon became quite clear that wetting her body down with the hose & squirting the shampoo directly on the dog just wasn’t going to cut it (apparently she’s ticklish!).Quickly switching over to using two separate buckets — one for soapy water & one with clear water for rinsing, and a sponge in each — I came to realize that these sponges were exactly what I’d need.With the chenille side & the sponge within being so absorbent, they worked great for getting her wetted down all over (including under her belly & various nether regions) — and for making sure to get all the shampoo thoroughly rinsed out.With my women-sized palms & unfortunately-stubby fingers, the soft stretchy band on the microfiber side, made it easy for my arthritic hands to keep ahold of these sponges — including the slippery, soaped-up one — as I worked to spread the shampoo all over & then scrub a bit at some areas of her white fur that had gotten stained during her adventures in the backyard. I found it to be much more comfortable and effective than I’ve experienced using various items with straps designed for similar purposes.Both sides of the sponge “cover” (the long chenille side, as well as the microfiber side), as well as the strap, all seem quite sturdy in terms of both the materials and — even more importantly— the stitching that holds those parts together.I realize that most folks buy these for washing automobiles not dogs, but I think that all the features which proved helpful to me in washing my pup are equally applicable to washing cars.These sponges get my whole-hearted 5 star rating. If you’re thinking of purchasing one (or two, or ten!) for either purpose, I’m certain you will not be disappointed!

Thick, not too soft, not too dense. Feels good in the hand, it doesn’t feel like a cheap the foam feels like it will hold up for a while. Cover is very soft. Very happy. I like quality products that will last and are reasonably priced.

I was skeptical at first because of some of the bad reviews but I purchased anyways, I am glad I did. This spring works well for washing my car, I didn’t notice any new swirls or scratches when I paired this with Meguiars gold class soap. This thing is super absorbent it was almost hard to get all the water out when using the 2 bucket method. Overall great sponge, also I washed it on low in my washing machine and just let it dry without putting in the dryer, I didn’t see any issues with build quality.

I love this car wash sponge. It cleans very well and it does not leave any streaks or scratches on the vehicle. It also drives very well and it’s easy to use. It’s a mitten. It’s very convenient to hold and Will not slip off your hand. It also drives very quickly and it does not smell if you dry it properly. I recommend leaving it out in the sun and letting it dry. Squeeze the water out of it as much as you can and then put it in the sun. Definitely recommend this
