Okay first let me say I am not affiliated with this company and this was my first purchase. I also don't think I've ever reviewed something this high without fully using it first. Now, let me give you about 479 reasons to buy any of these raised bed planters... I have always been a little gardener in my apartments with potted plants but recently bought my first home and am THRILLED to have a full fledged garden. Well... The deer and raccoons have other ideas. So screw them critters, let's get a raised bed planter and lock it up in some fencing! Well first I called my brother in law, a practiced carpenter, how much to build?? Well we decided he'd price to build and I'd shop. So to Amazon I go! I looked at EVERYTHING. This was in my price range so I sent it to him. He said it looked great and he definitely couldn't build one as cheap, reason #1. So I bit the bullet and said let's buy three! Woo! I'm a VERY handy woman as I grew up in a house with an electrician/carpenter father. I love to buy and build furniture from whatever store or website you could name. It's my retirement plan. This was BY FAR, the easiest assembly I've ever done, reason #2. If you aren't handy, they have the QR code for their YouTube videos right on the instructions! I watched one anyway just for peace of mind and let me tell you, they are complete and thorough, a child could follow... If they could use power tools, reason 3. The cedar wood is INCREDIBLY light and smells soooooo good, reasons 4 and 5. Literally I could lift this myself but carrying around you need 2 people just because of the length, I think I could move it but my fiance was here so why not use free labor. Listen to this... I BOUGHT THREE... EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. had the correct and correct amount of hardware. Brilliant, reason 6. Reason 7, it's freaking beautiful and is going to fit my plants soooo nice. Reason 8-479, this company put thought into EVERYTHING. The packaging. Let me tell you the amount of times I have bought something and the packaging filled my whole recycling bin and half my garbage can, it's the literal worst. They use the minimum amount of styrofoam and unrecyclable materials as possible (see my pic of the waste). Shipping was crazy fast too. My fiance asked why I put the company emblem on it even though it's an optional step, and I said I was so dang happy with it that I wanted to show others where I bought it without having to pull up my Amazon. Everything about this purchase was smooth and I couldn't be happier. If you've made it this far in my review, I hope I have convinced you to buy this because they are truly a great company to deal with, especially buying 3 and having ZERO issues. Happy planting!!

I purchased two of these after pricing out what it would cost to build it myself using cedar. I'm decently handy but don't own a circular saw, miter saw, or jig to do this project myself. For this reason I looked at a number of different options via Amazon and beyond.My criteria: full smooth cedar wood (no need to sand or do other prep), price competitive to DIY, easy to assemble without a second pair of hands, weight durable, aesthetically pleasing and big enough to actually grow things. Also waist high.I selected this product because it was the only one I found at the right price point, with the right wood, with the right look and profile.I assembled this in 15 minutes after reading the directions and watching a YouTube walk through. The only tool I needed as my power drill.It's a beautiful product. I'm going to stain it with a food grade sealant and get growing!

From the pictures you will realize that it was assembled in my family room. It was raining outside so I turn a dreary day into a fun day. In less than two hours the planter was ready to fill with my herbs and veggies. The instructions were so easy to follow that I did not have to watch the video and the only tool I needed was a screwdriver( not a power one either) oh, and a meat tenderizer to hammer in the nails because I didn’t want to go down to the basement to get my husband’s hammer! By the way, I am a 74 year old proud grandmother of six great kids. Tomorrow sunny day son I will begin my little garden without having to bend down.Robin

My husband was going to build one, and the cost was too high! Then I found this and thought it was a no-brainer. I need to plant some vegetables higher, since I have such a problem with iguanas here in South Florida. It was easy to assemble, seems super sturdy, and is very pretty. Right now, I have basil, tomatoes, ginger, and potatoes growing....and the iguanas have not found it. I have plants these before, only to have it mowed down in minutes by an iguana. Hopefully I will get to grow some stuff to completion!

I decided to order a second one to replace the smaller, poor quality one that you can see in my picture. From the moment you open the box you will be impressed with the packaging and the cedar wood smell. Easy to follow instructions requiring one tool. Precision fabricated wood sections, a support bar and bottom liner says Boldly Growing focuses on making this the BEST raised garden box on the market. I placed 8 pre-planted GARDZEN 3-Gallon Fabric Grow Bags in this planter, which gives me the ability to move or remove each vegetable or herb plant as needed. The trellis are made of bamboo support sticks which I carefully drilled three small holes in line and threaded wooden skewers through. I'm a happy 72 yr old gardener this summer!
