Mozaic Poly Solid Full Futon Mattress, 6-inch, Black

This futon mattress is very comfortable. I'm using it as a couch but it is comfortable enough to sleep on. The color is a bit lighter than pictured but I have a waterproof mattress cover on it as well as a waterproof pet cover so it's not really an issue. The fabric is soft but seems a little thin. This should not be a problem to me since I'm covering the mattress anyway. The only issue I have is with how UPS handled the package. The box was ripped open on one end with about a foot or two of the unprotected mattress exposed. Thankfully it wasn't torn or very dirty when I opened it. I give 5 stars for the product itself as Amazon is not responsible for how UPS handles shipping. I recommend this thick mattress and would purchase again.

Really pretty

The size, thickness and color are great. It’s also pretty comfortable, however, it has a strong odor three week in that is noticeable and persistent, something like polyester. I suppose a plastic cover could help. Otherwise a good buy at that price point.

We purchased two of these 10" futons to replace a worn out king-sized futon that was about 11 years old. These are our every night sleeping mattress. Two twins = one king for our bed frame. After unpacking, we let these mattresses air out and fluff up in the guestroom for about 5 days. Window in the room slightly cracked for air circulation. I did not notice any 'smell' but my spouse did, although not overwhelming.By the time we brought these into the bedroom, they were fully 'plumped' to the advertised 10". There was no offensive odor, although my spouse still smelled a little bit. Any odor has dissipated over the past weeks.These are very firm mattresses, but very comfortable. They are not lumpy at all. Spouse likes a softer experience and is very happy with a 3" memory foam topper available elsewhere on Amazon. I am fine with the mattress, sheets and blankets.The shell is a heavy cotton (cotton/poly blend?) covering with a sturdy zipper most of the way around. I can't imagine unzipping the cover, but I guess you could. The mattress ties are well-placed and solid. I peeked at the filling and it was an evenly distributed mix of the memory foam and fiber filler.I think the 'odor' is simply a plastic type smell from the foam, and the sizing chemicals used in the covering fabric.By following the instructions to air out a bit and allow the mattresses to 'plump', I don't see this as a negative.These are daily use sleepers and I will buy again.

Oh I am so unhappy with this futon that I’m probably going to throw it away and I just bought it in December. It is only 1 inch where I’ve been sitting and maybe an inch and a half to 2 inches on the corners. I don’t know what’s in this but it’s not anything that you would want to sleep on I can feel the wooden frame of my futon on my back and now my hips both hurt me every day. I would not suggest buying this cheaply made product! If I could get a refund I would but my son was out of town and i couldn’t take it off myself due to a hurt shoulder. It would’ve been OK if it was at least five or even 4 inches thick. This would have been a beautiful futon mattress if it would have been packaged correctly. The box was completely messed up broken and the plastic cover had busted so the matress expanded. The mattress was dirty and wet very obviously from exposure to the elements. The customer service representative helped me fix the issue but I’m very dissatisfied because it is a beautiful color. I can’t wait another week for a replacement my review is mixed. I think the company needs to do a better job at packaging this item so that people can enjoy their purchase and not have to deal with customer support for a resolution. I don’t know if this is exactly the shipping company’s fault or a packaging issue but be aware that this is really a problem.

It arrived without package damage, opened up quickly to the stated width and length. It is so comfy! The fabric is just fine as well. I am very please with this purchase.

Bought this to sleep on nightly, I was pretty paranoid I wasn't gonna like it and I didn't feel real great about getting a mattress on Amazon, but I'm admit it's pretty comfy and I would buy it again. Also, don't be alarmed by the strong oil smell after opening it, goes away after like ~2 days.
