I have a rectangular vent pipe for my tumble dryer. However, tumble dryers come with a circular hose pipe for venting. I bought a new dryer and wanted to renew all venting so would have been lost without this. I would have had to make a rectangle in the briackwork into a circle. However, vented dryers are being phased out so keeping it rectangle means that in future I will only need one brick to seal up the hole. There is plenty length on the inside to attach the hose with a jubilee clip.

Perfect solution
My previous extractor ducting was leaking because the hose had torn, probably when installed. They had connected the 4” round hose to the rectangular outlet! This adapter did the job!
