The media could not be loaded. Have tried these pods for about 2 months and have worked great with one and a half tablespoons of coffee and 2 for the water volume selector on a mini me dolce gusto machine, delivering a good expresso.Haven’t try it with chocolate or milk

Terrible! Do not buy unless you are willing to risk ruining your Nescafe coffee maker! 1st, the pods are too big. They fit so tightly in the cradle that I thought I was going to break my Genio trying to remove it. 2nd, you risk breaking the piercing needle because it is impossible to line the whole up correctly. Unlike the original pods which are made of a material that can be pierced anywhere on its surface, these pods are made up of a hard silicon which can definitely damage the needle! The entire design is fundamentally flawed. These pods are not worth ruining your machine or having to get it repaired.

did not work as the original capsules

I’ve been experimenting a lot with this pod. I have found to get the best coffee with the most crema I use two and half scoops of espresso ground. I also use a filter. The paper filter provides a good crema that doesn’t disappear quickly (like it does without). I’ve tried with the filter and the crema disc (sold separately) but it slows the process down and I may as well do pour over if I am willing to wait for that. I prefer the filter also because it makes clean up faster.I did not give 5 stars because I am disappointed that I cannot put powdered milk in these. So far I have the pod ‘as is’ with a filter, with a disc, with both, I’ve even played around with 2% and whole milk powders and mixes of sugar and milk. I cannot get the machine to give me a frothed milk.I’ve attached a photo of the coffees- top left was this pod + crema disc, top right is the pod alone, bottom is the filter.

These capsules are fabulous but not for everybody, I load it with Peets and make a fabulous Size 12 coffee. Its a bit messy and the little brush is very useful to clean the cup as you load it. Press down on the grinds with every scoop.
