I like the plug tool

This tool is indispensable if you are going to install trex decking with screws. I had a couple of minor frustrations with it after using the tool for about ten hours. Contacted Starborn customer service with my concerns. Without a doubt, the best customer service, I have ever dealt with.

My husband and I are senior DIYers and this product made it much easier and professional looking to complete our deck project.

Easy to install and matched my deck material very well.

Bought these for my new deck. Ordered the wrong color but seller quickly resolved this. Started install yesterday and these plugs are awesome. They match perfectly and I could not be happier. Make sure you place them correctly as they don’t come back out easy. Will order again for next deck.

Perfect for wanting a seamless finish

The driver doesn't set all screws to the proper depth. Which means the Trex plugs aren't set flush then you have a hell of a time getting the plug out. I had to take a razor blade and cut the excess plug off then using a 1/4 bit drill the plug out then hand cut a new plug to the proper depth and glue it in. I did finally get to a point where I could tell when a screw wasn't set deep enough and would use just a bit in another drill to set it deeper. All this was a big pain in the ass, and I wasted a lot of plugs.
