Handmade Didgeridoo Eucalyptus (Root)

I bought the root didgeridoo. It is very beautiful and unique looking, a little different looking than the pictures, but I like it a lot. I requested a key of D didge and it does have a key of D. It is very heavy and well-crafted. It is very easy to play because of having high back pressure. It starts small inside at the mouthpiece then gets a little bigger and then it has a very narrow tube in the center and then gets bigger towards the end. The mouthpiece is slightly uncomfortable but I can either put a beeswax on it or perhaps I may just get used to it. The sound is amazing! Lots of resonance and and reverberations, lots of unique sounds compared to other didges that I have played. But most of all I love the high amount of back pressure that it has, it makes it very easy to play. Only one day of playing and I feel like I’m a much better didge player than I was yesterday. When i purchased this, i asked the company if i could pick a key, and they said it was already shipped and they cant do anything about it. Later on i received the didg, and its beautiful! sounds great, smells great. But then i was very curious to find a decent size crack with wood glue in the middle range of didg. So I contacted the seller, and they worked with me very well. I asked to return the cracked one for a new one, and requested a certain look and key. They managed to MAKE ALL MY DREAMS COME TRUE! They got me exactly what i wanted!!!! I received the new didg within DAAYS!!!! and it is PERFECTTT!!!! GO TERRE!!!! This new on is even more amazing than my first one was!!! BUY ONE!!!

The media could not be loaded. I thought for the cost this was a good gamble. There were some really good reviews and the limited bad ones seemed more like it just wasn't right for them but they liked the digerydoo. Plus i liked all the ones i saw in the pictures...so I went for it! I've been trying to buy a wooden one for almost 2 years and this was super convenient one button and poof I received a unique digerydoo with a beautiful sound!The wood is super solid, heavy and has nice details. It stands on its own and wobbles back in place if it's touched lightly...I may make a stand for it. I absolutely love this digerydoo.It plays well without the bees wax mouthpiece but it plays really well and deliberate with the mouth piece I got some really nice sounds on it after playing for a hour! I saw some reviews about it playing muted I had that experience as well until I changed the mouth piece to beeswax even with the bees wax I had to kind of manipulate that for how I play once I figured it out this digerydoo was playing so easy!I'm really happy with the purchase. I'll probably buy the F note in the future. It was also delivered very quickly and packaged REALLY well. I highly reccomend buying from this company! I will be looking at their other instruments.

Wasn't sure about the mouthpiece at 1st, all the dig I've ever played before had a wax mouthpiece, but it turns out that it's just right. Not a traditional dig, meaning not hollowed out by termites, but still had good sound. Was a bit higher tone than I was expecting but, still a good instrument. Good looking and also because of the higher tone, a good instrument to circular breathe. All in all the wood looks good, it sounds good it's a decent player, glad I bought it.

I am not a person of any wealth and I have played a plastic didge for 6 years (on and off). I finally made the purchase for a root Didge and I am very happy with my purchase. The seller responded very promptly to messages and it was delivered quickly. It was also wrapped well during shipping so no damage was sustained during transport.A little bit of bees wax on the mouth piece (which is not a separate piece of wood) will create perfect connection with your lips.Again very thankful! 100%%I would recommend for anyone that is looking for a moderately priced, authentic handmade, eucalyptus didge with good overall tonal quality.

Honestly what a sad purchase literally sounds flat my 40$ synthetic didg sounds 100 times better

Root didgeridoo arrived solidly packed for protection. It is a beautiful instrument with an amazing sound! Just what we were looking for!

I want to give this 5 stars because it's absolutely beautiful how ever the sound is just not right. I'm not an expert or anything but it sounds muted. I can get better sound out of my pvc one. I hope it is purely my inexperience and not the didge. It looks as though it was crafted with care. The finish is furniture quality. I imagine the didge will out last me. I will update this in another few months and see if it improves (if I improve I should say.) Please do not let this discourage from buying it is merely my opinion from a novice player at best.

The sound of this instrument is incredible! Super easy to get the vibrations going! Working with this seller was incredible. She was very kind and understanding and I put her through way too much trouble with my "I'm not sure I bought the right one..." concerns. Which of course I had only after I purchased the product and it was shipped. This woman's patience was legendary. She racked her brain trying to accommodate my neurotic concerns with all these alternative options for returns and exchanges. But lo, the didge finally arrived. I played it. I fell in love. And now I can never give it back. Many years from now (hopefully), they will have to pry this delightful instrument from my cold dead hands.

The Didge Eucalyptus 59 I received is Not tuned to "F" as advertised. NOT necked down as illustrated. NOT tapered inside the lip as indicated and the horn end is NOT flared as illustrated in the photograph. What I received looks nothing like what Amazon advertised. Import and export may cost half of the unit price. Having said that the seller is a very pleasant person. Thank you.
