Wow, this magnifier is amazing. It’s all singing all dancing - with a great inbuilt powerful light, giving the option of a double normal light or uv. Weight is more than I expected but the magnifying strength is fantastic, very clear & not distorted. Sturdy. comes in a plastic presentation case with a cleaning cloth so it would be suitable as a gift. Lens folds neatly away in the metal housing. It even has a metal loop to attach it to a chain. Great value for money, functions well & I would say it’s of jewellery trade standard as I can see hallmarks etc without any issues. Arrived on time & in good condition. I would highly recommend this seller & product. Thank you 😊👍🏆

Pros: ✔ Built-in LED light is extremely helpful ✔ Very good for inspecting knife edges ✔ Metal construction feels solid ✔ Long battery life Cons: ✖ No automatic light shut-off when folded I use this jeweler’s loupe to inspect cutting edges when sharpening knives, and it works very well. The LED light makes a huge difference — much more than I expected. I also own a branded loupe with theoretically better optics, but without lighting. In practice, I use this one more often because the built-in light is simply more useful. An automatic switch-off when folding would be nice, as I sometimes forget to turn the light off, but the batteries still last a long time. Overall, a very practical and effective tool.
