I needed Cotten that I could shape into slightly bigger balls in order to clean my cat’s ears and this worked perfectly.

I could not unroll it. It shredded. Threw it out.

The first thing that I could not help but notice about the ForPro Premium Cotton Roll is its noticeable weight. The order includes a single cotton roll that weighs 1lb. I was disappointed to find that the bag holding the product is not resealable. In addition, the bag has a very tight fit around the cotton roll. Once I removed the roll, I learned that it took a little effort to try to return it to its bag. I was able to find the end quickly and began to unroll it. It was not as neat and even when unrolling as I had anticipated. When looking at the cotton, it reminded me of the loose cotton used to top medicine and vitamin bottles. This did not match the image in my head when reading the manufacturer description of "medical-grade." The cotton is easy to tear from the roll and in a way reminded me of when I pull bits off from a huge pillow of cotton candy. The cotton is very soft and has a noticeable texture to it. I initially used it to apply toner. I found that the cotton is incredibly soft on the skin and absorbs the toner well thereby making a little amount of toner go a long way. The bits of cotton that I had torn off did leave threads of cotton across my face which I later had to take time to wipe off. I was not a fan of this detail. Once I had learned about the loose cotton threads that remained on my skin after using it with the toner, I decided to abandon my next plan of using it to protect my skin when coloring my hair as I did not want to risk getting loose cotton strands in my colored hair. Overall, it's a soft cotton roll that I think would be useful for decorating my Christmas Village scene as snow ground cover. Can it be used for beauty needs? For select uses- sure, but ultimately be prepared for a residue of cotton strings after each use. In the end this product did not work well for my needs and I plan to go back to the traditional cotton ball or round cotton pads for my beauty needs.
