Great product and easy to install! We used this for a five hour drive to Lake George on top of my Chevy Traverse with the Chevy roof rails. We put five beach chairs and two camping tables in it and it fit perfectly! The tie down straps included were easy to use. The bag kept everything dry during a strong rain storm. I used a Husky Ratchet Strap down the middle for extra strength- tied to bag and under the rack, to the roof roof rails. No movement. My only gripe was that the distance of the Chevy roof rails did not allow for the rack mount to be centered perfectly on the rails. It held perfectly for the trip anyway.

Nice fit. Easy assembly and installation. Robust. No problems. I installed the carrier basket on a 2025 Toyota RAV4 XLE Premium with a factory-installed cargo rack. The Toyota cargo racks run across the vehicle, driver's side to passenger side, and are 32.5" center to center, front to back. Regarding product assembly: the frame screws holes were well aligned. Note when installing the frame screws that they are very tight at first, which makes sense so they don't back out easily under vibration. I recommend not using a power screwdriver because you might strip the screw head. Tighten by hand in small increments using a #2 Phillips screwdriver or a ratchet with a #2 Phillips bit. As a reference for anyone reading this review with a similar installation, I positioned the plastic spacers in the first and tenth spaces (that were wide enough to fit a plastic spacer) from the front of the basket and about 2" inwards from the sides of the basket.

The rack bars didn't line up perfectly with the cross bars on our 2021 GMC Acadia. Given this issue, installation was a bit harder than expected. We made wedges that attached to each screw to hold it in place and give it extra hold. Once these were installed, the rack was straight and very stable. The storage bag was great and traveled well.

First off, let's all agree that this is a heck of a bundle for ~$210 + tax. You get a steel roof basket, cargo net, ratchet straps, and finally a travel bag. As of writing this review, I have assembled the roof cage and have done a dry-run of fitting my gear in it, but I have yet to mount it to my vehicle/travel. I will update my review if I find that to be problematic for any reason. Some of the rooftop cargo carriers I was looking at were $500+, so in terms of pricing this can't be beat. Assembly was very straightforward. Though the included guide is not the most descriptive in the world, the picture graph basically speaks for itself. I needed to use my palm screwdriver to secure the screws as they did require some force, so it's a good idea to have a tool that will allow you to exert some pressure. There are no tools included with this kit. The included cargo net appears to be high quality, whereas the ratchet straps appear to be a bit on the cheaper end, but still functional. The weatherproof bag is made of a heavy material akin to what bounce-houses are made of, and certainly seems durable enough for what it needs to hold. I would not trust that the bag would do well with any sharp edges or corners though, so do use caution when packing & zipping everything shut. My only gripes, as minor as they are, are acceptable given the price range. I noticed light markings on the steel in numerous spots that appeared to indicate the cage I purchased was either used before, poorly packaged, or handled somewhat rough at the factory. None of these broke through the paint, so I'm not too concerned about it. If you order one of these, expect to bust out a can of flex seal (or similar) to seal up the areas around the screw holes per manufacturer recommendation. An insert the company had provided seemed to allude to the fact that people were complaining about rust, which is something I have no interest in dealing with, so I do intend to follow their directions to avoid that. Overall I'm very happy with what I have so far, and I look forward to seeing how this holds up on the road! Update: I've installed it on the vehicle, and like many others have stated the U-Bolts are far too large to fit the caps on. I've seen plenty of crossbars and I really cannot see why they justify sending such large U bolts - I don't know of any roof rack that would require the length they provide. Again, given the price I can't complain too much, but this issue is more annoying than the others.
