Stop thinking about it and just buy it.
So I made the decision to purchase another mini rollypoly dump pouch. I bought one at a local store and loved it so much I wanted another.I purchased the original one to hold a Guyot Designs 32oz SS bottle straight to my pack and it does its job very well. The bottle is a bit too short, but the bottle has a loop to grab from the top, so it's all good. I decided to purchase a second one with the intent of keeping one on my hiking belt with all my other bat-gear. The one I purchased from Amazon will be used as a tinder pouch, since it has a drawstring top to the pouch. If you use it for this purpose, you should know it has a small drainage grommet on the bottom so there's a slim chance you could get your tinder wet if you get caught in the rain. However, the material seems thick and substantial enough to bead most water off. Probably give it a coat of waterproofing and call it a day.The best part about these pouches is the roll-up feature. When it's not in use, you can roll it up into a nice, compact bump on your pack. No bulky pouches to catch on mesquite branches and whatnot. Best way to compare it, when it's rolled up, it's about the diameter of a standard baseball, I can almost wrap my fingers completely around it. Hope that helps some of you with your decision, I know I don't regret my purchase at all.

Does the job
The pouch is sturdy cordura as described, stitching seems decent quality on first impression. Comes with a UTX latch at the top for attachment to a strap or a vertical belt loop as well as a single row of PALS/MOLLE webbing on the back to fit onto your belt or pack. Bilateral drawstrings with rope buckles on the backside to cinch the pouch shut when full. Drainage port at the bottom incase of leaks. To roll it back up you fold the bottom up once and collapse the wings inward on top of that, then roll it all upwards into the Velcro strap for retention. Made in Vietnam so it’s not an American made product. Can fit a 1L (~34oz) bottle of water OR up to 3 x 30rd 5.56 mags (any less than that and I would have returned it). I just used a multipurpose MOLLE buckle to attach mine to my belt and it’s secured fine with no wiggle; it only needs a single loop (3 available). I have several Maxpedition products, I’ve yet to be disappointed.Pictures shared to show size comparisons, build quality, attachment setup and utility / configuration.TL;DRPros:Sturdy corduraEasy attachment optionsFits snug, collapses to a very small areaPrice: worth what I paid ($22), but I would not pay more than thatCons:Can only hold a 3 mag dump vs 4-5 with competitorsMade in Vietnam (-1 star)Overall: 4/5 stars

Great piece of gear!
I purchased this thinking it would just go on my belt so when I was hiking I would have a convenient way gather bark, moss, other tinder. But it ends up living on my backpack strap now so it can carry just about anything. Kids snacks, water bottles, useless Forest Service maps, etc. it is just the right size to carry the random crap that always seems to end up in the way.

Maxpedition Does It Again!
I own two of these mini rollypoly pouches now, both strapped to the sides of my backpack for the purpose of holding water bottles. The drain hole in the bottom is nice for sweaty drinks and the attachment strap system is well made. Only down side is because this is a roll-up style bag, the attachment system is limited to the top third of the bag (when unrolled), so when I put my 48 oz Nalgene Tritan in there full of water, the pouch tends to swing side to side on the backpack. I'm not worried about it falling off or anything, but it sometimes gets annoying swinging around. That being said, the convenience of being able to hold my huge water bottle when I need to or rolling it up when not in use is worth the swinging issue.Maxpedition says this is rated for a 32 oz water bottle, but as long as the bottle has the same diameter you can get a larger one like I did, but it will just stick up above the rim of the pouch. The Nalgene 48 oz Tritan sticks up about 2-3 inches above the rim of the pouch actually making it easier to remove the water bottle which is nice. My 32 oz Guyot bottle sits fully submerged in the pouch which means you have to stick your fingers in there to pull it out. My advice, go for the 48 oz in combination with this rollypoly.

Always the best it seems
Maxpedition has a good grip on what's needed when they build something. This pouch is "on the money". Good design, quality and at a great price. I'm a personal trainer and I use this with a Maxpedition Thermite Versipack. The combination is outstanding and I use it everyday. Thank you.

should have bought this sooner
I use this every time we go shooting. My husband reloads and we collect a lot of brass at our local outdoor range. The pouch holds a lot of cartridges and can be closed with a toggled drawstring and a flap at the top. When not in use, this rolls up very small and is hooked on my gun range backpack. So much better than picking up pieces of brass and putting them into my pocket or a plastic bag. I hook it to one of my belt loops so it's both convenient and out of the way. When I first bought this my husband thought it was an unnecessary item since we were already using plastic bags from the grocery store. Now he puts all the brass he finds in my dump pouch. The pouch is small, very strong and can be closed tightly at the top. Since it's made by Maxpedition, I know it will probably last longer than I will! I wish I had bought thissooner.

Maxpedition halt !!
Der Rollypoly ist inzwischen seid über 7 Jahren täglich im Einsatz. Was soll ich sagen.

Great water pouch.. just watch bottle type!
I needed some extra space for my "Ultimate Dad Bag" which consists of a Maxpedition Versipack with a 1L Nalgene bottle. This is a great bag for those long days walking around with the family but I found that would sometime run out of water.I bought this little beast so that I could carry an additional 1L Nalgene bottle or has extra space for those random bottles of Coke wee seem to accumulate when out & about. The 1L Nalgene certainly fits but the narrow neck is a tiny bit longer than the wide neck bottle so doesn't fit too well. The Bag has a fairly poor drawstring type closure.. i had to tie knots in the elastic to stop it from being drawn through. Fairly minor point thoughThe top flap does close securely though and just-about does the job with a 1L narrow neck Nalgene

Práctico
Buena dimensión, no la he medido (debería ser la que indican sus características) y ocupa poco. La calidad de los materiales es más que aceptable para llevar no solo una cantimplora mediana, sino que también puede tener otras utilidades como bolsa cilíndrica.
