Wow, I did not know what my hair routine was missing until I bought this. I went on a last-minute trip to Italy and I didn't want to deal with styling my hair with hot tools, so I bought this to keep my hair and frizz tame while on vacation. I have short/medium wavy hair which is usually unstructured and frizzy when I don't use any product. This gave me the most beautiful volume and shine. It added it a little bit more structure to my waves than normal without weighing it down or creating a cast like gel would. It made my hair last all day and it was so easy to know that all I did was run it through my hair and let it air dry. There isn't a strong smell (although I didn't notice any kind of smell at all), and the viscosity was thin enough to be spread evenly throughout my hair. Consider a product thickness more than oil but less than a typical styling cream. This is seriously now my new favorite product to use when I want to let my hair down with its natural texture.

I’m learning to embrace my wavy hair. I have a 2a or 2b hair. And it’s only turning that way as I age. So learning what to do with it is really challenging.I heard about this online. Probably a BuzzFeed article or something. But they hyped it up so much I decided to try it.Honestly, this stuff is amazing. It helps define my waves without ANY crunchiness. My hair doesn’t look greasy at all. I’m still leaning to accept what my hair looks like without blow drying it, but this does not add greasiness, unlike others I’ve tried (which is a major help).I can’t talk it up enough. I don’t use it every day because I don’t go wavy every day. But when I do, I always reach for this. And I think as I grow more comfortable with how to handle and tame my waves, I’ll choose that more days.So happy I found this. It’s just *chefs kiss*

Honestly i have been looking for a specific product that I can use on its own to get my hair from becoming frizzy. I have extremely frizzy and wavy hair. I use to always use gel plus hair creams and mousse. But i hate the feel of them all and this product takes the cake. I put it on right after washing my hair and scrunch it up. It air dries really well with very minimal frizz.

My curly hair drives me crazy. It's so temperamental. I can never get it to cooperate when I need it to. But whatever the ingredients are in here, they are perfect. I don't use gel, mousse, or hairspray because I can't stand that crunchiness. I don't blow dry my hair so I love that there is finally something for air drying that isn't crunchy or heavy. It works so well and it makes my hair feel amazing for days. And when I shower again the next day the curls come back with the steam without needing to reapply. It brings the elasticity right back on hair that hasn't curled properly in years. It also hasn't made my scalp itchy or given me buildup which basically everything else does. I wonder if the products work to just nourish your hair and scalp overall while also being good for styling. That's what it feels like to me at least. Thank you times a gazillion JVN, you are the best! I've been wanting to try this for ages and man I should have tried it on the first day I heard about it!

I will update this as I use it more. I am not sure it is improving my hair at this point after 3 uses. My hair is still frizzy. I have tried various amounts and see no difference.

I’m a 2C to 3A head of long hair and this stuff works! I’ve tried just about everything to make my hair hold a curl and be shiny so I’ve had my fair share of duds. This cream smells nice and there’s zero crunch like with other products. I applied it to hair about an inch below the roots. My 2C pieces towards the nape of my neck that usually dry pretty loose are just as springy as the top layers of hair.

I never write reviews but this product is truly amazing for frizzy curly/wavy (mixed texture) hair. Be careful with the amounts you use because it's very effective but it can weight your hair down if you use too much. I usually use it as needed as my hair dries, applying more, if necessary. I've tried different products hoping that they would give me the effect that this one does and nothing came close!

This was the equivalent of putting overpriced water on my hair in the sense that it did nothing. I didn't add shine, didn't provide hold to my curls, and, unlike water, didn't moisturize.I tried it because my the product I use to hold my curls dries out my hair. After trying this product, my hair is softer, but only because my hairs no longer getting dried out: my hair is equally soft when I put nothing on it so I can't even say this product provides softness.I tried using small amount, large amount, tried it on wet hair and dry hair -- always the same result of NOTHING.
