Love them, they fit well, I'm ready to do some damage with my saw! Will see how durable they are and will do an update in a few months.

Heavy Duty and Good Quality
I bought these for dual purpose reasons. The obvious is for working with a Chain saw for protection which I feel they will do very well. But I also wanted them because I was tired of trying to pull out stickers from my shoes and pants when weed eating. These keep my pants and shoes fairly free of any debris or stickers, and any that gets on the chaps brush off real easily due to the material. So I am a happy camper.

Honestly, it's impossible to truly rate this item without intentionally destroying it with a chainsaw, but I'm praying that I never accidentally test them out. I wear them, they fit, I have a little peace about holding on to a machine that could easily eat me for lunch, but I never want to TRULY test this product.

Secure Feeling Wearing This Item
Arrived quickly - fit well, buckles easily wrapped around legs. The waist cinch was adjustible, one pull on the belt created a tighter fit. After 3 hours wearing this item, I still don't know if it would stop a chain saw. That's the point. We're talking about prevention here. I felt safe, paid attention to the saw, and never had to invoke the protective qualities of the garment.

Great PPE for starting out.
Bought these for my 12 year old son who helps with the firewood collection. I fall the tree and he does all of the limping and some bucking. Second time out in these he learned a lesson about not taking a break. His arms got fatigued and he nipped his leg with the saw. These chaps did the job and protected his leg. We had a break and talked about the importance of PPE and knowing your limits. After the break we went right back to cutting and not to the hospital for stitches!

They feel that they would be reasonable level of protection. Color is a brighter orange than depicted.
