Sturdy, sharp and just what I need!!

I get a LOT of camp gadgets and this is one of the better inexpensive camp gadget kits that I have picked up. Not fantastic, but great for the price (doesn't hold an edge well, but didn't expect it to). Great for teaching youth how to handle various tools safely without being large and unwieldy.

The MACHETE: Nice grip. Like the weight and balance. Do not like the ease in which the blade seems to nick and dent relatively easy. Used it to cut some fibrous weeds that seems to multiple in my yard like rabbits. First thing I noticed was that, right out of the box, it was dull. The 2nd thing I noticed, after about 10 mins of use, was the blade had some visible damage. It had a few spots, toward the tip, that had nicks and dents. When I ran my finger along the side of the blade I found rough spots and a place where it appeared blade dented almost like the metal was so soft that it simply pushed the metal in and off to the side. The blade never came into contact with rocks or wood of any kind. Just the fibrous weeds that I was cutting down to about 1-2 inches tall so I could mow over them.HATCHET: Nice grip. Decent weight and balance. It was sharp right out of the box. So far I've only used it to cut smaller soft wood trees, like the cursed Mulberry Trees that grow wild and abundantly in my yard, and seems to really work well. I didn't have to use full heavy swings to fell the trees. I cannot say how well it'll do on a harder wood yet as I haven't made it to the small Ash or Walnut trees that need chopped down.HUNTING KNIFE: Cannot say anything as I've not even taken it out of the box.

Nice set to keep in truck for emergency needs.

I added this kit to my minibike to use when out riding, camping and such. Very useful. Sheaths are strong. Blades are sharp enough. And who doesn't love a matching kit? Grips are comfortable and slip free.

I've enjoyed them so far

It can fit almost in and storage but I would only use this under emergences. Works for what it is.

Great
