No doubt this is the most expensive thermometer I have ever purchased, but we needed something reliable and which would be reliable and this is perfect.

This product just works, every time without fuss or hassle. It measures what appear to be accurate temperatures measurements and is easy to use.The auto-rotate feature for the display is very smart and does make them simple to use.It is essential for baking or cooking meat like chicken or steak.

I've tried cheaper instant read thermometers but they are slow and track poorly. Once adjusted to 1 degree f increments (you can choose c or f and 1 degree or 0.1) this tracks quickly and settles well. The rotating screen is actually way more useful than I expected, the auto lit screen with light sensor v.useful on BBQ's and it takes a simple pencil battery which is better than the non pro version (watch battery). Its also waterproof. What not to like?

Fast easy and accurate

I've gone through quite a few cooking thermometers over the years, either through excessive use or bad luck, but I really should have spent the extra money and got this from the get go.Super fast reading, updates like every 0.5s (the 3 second reading advertised is for the pen to display an accurate temperature from room temp probe, I think). Holding the probe in heating oil you can accurately see the temp go up 0.1c in real time. It's amazing.Nice 'sharp' probe is able to be easily inserted into cuts of meat.Display adjusts to orientation nicely and turns off when laid flat (to save battery).Hard to imagine how a thermometer could be any better if I'm being honest.

So much better than a £12 model. Works instantly and is very reliable. It is expensive but worth every penny.

Een van de belangrijkste toevoegen aan zowel mijn binnen- als buitenkeuken. Ik gebruik hem dagelijks. Hiervoor vaak goedkopere andere merken gekocht maar dat doe ik nooit meer.

The media could not be loaded.  Ich hatte jetzt schon das ein oder andere Einstechthermometer, aber so richtig überzeugen konnte mich noch keines. Was Weber abliefert ist für das Geld ein Witz, die Messzeiten sind viel zu lang. ETI verspricht bei diesem Thermometer, dass es viel schneller geht und das Versprechen wird auch gehalten! Im Video ist gut zu sehen, wie schnell der Thermapen anspricht.Auch die sonstigen Features sind genau so, wie man es sich vorstellt:Ausklappen der Nadel schaltet das Gerät ein. Die Anzeige dreht sich in 90° Schritten mit. Ist es dunkel wird die Displaybeleuchtung automatisch aktiviert. Legt man das Thermometer mit ausgeklappter Nadel an die Seite geht es nach einigen Sekunden automatisch in den Schlafmodus und sprigt sofort wieder an wenn man es in die Hand nimmt. Genau so muss das funktionieren!Auch die Verarbeitung lässt absolut keine Wünsche offen. Alles ist sauber und wertig gemacht. Das Batteriefach ist mit einer soliden Gummidichtung versehen.Fazit:Ja, der Preis für das Thermometer ist nicht ganz günstig, aber das Teil ist sein Geld absolut wert!

Had wanted one of these for years, finally pulled the trigger and wasn't disappointed. It is exactly as advertised, works as expected and has great build quality. Completely justifies it's cost over all the other thermometers I've used over the years.
