Barbie Fashionistas Doll #185 is a gorgeous addition to the Fashionistas line, bringing tons of personality and flair. This is one of the rare times I’ve preordered a fashionista doll (usually I wait for reviews/actual photos first), and I’m so happy with my purchase. This is one of the few times I’ve bought a lower-priced doll and have felt it’s even nicer in person than its stock photos. She is a pretty good match to the made to move doll with the purple top and pants as you can see in one of my photos. I took photos right out of the package, and then after the body swap. The head wrap piece is wonderful. It has a button so you can take it off easily (like a plastic belt piece you may have seen on other Barbie dolls), and is made from a durable plastic that should hold up to play if given to a child. I hope that Mattel offers more of these in different colors on other dolls or as part of fashion/accessory packs in the future. The nice thing is her hair looks good without the hair wrap (as you can see in some of the photos). I was worried that it wouldn’t or would be a “fake” style like one of the made to move dolls’ buns is. Her hair has a nice, realistic texture to it, too. The dress is very nice, though the sleeve holes are very narrow and could be difficult for a young child to take off/put back on on their own, and it fits a little snug on the MTM body, but it’s one of the nicer fashionista dresses out there. The shoes are nothing special. Very thin plastic and a design we’ve seen over and over. I swapped them for the shoes from the Latina signature looks doll as you can see in the photo. Note that she does not come with a stand or accessories beside the hair piece; I added those to flesh out her outfit. Overall, this doll is definitely worth $10. I even like her original body, which I normally don’t care for the non-posable ones at all. This would make a great gift for an older child or an adult collector, in my opinion. I’m very pleased.

I love her face sculpt and the freckles are just *chef's kiss*. I don't want to take her hair down either, it's perfect the way it is. Her dress makes me think of clouds in a blue sky. Her dress has clear elastic straps to keep it on at the shoulders and opens in the back. Her boots feel a little loose on her feet but they have a pretty pearlescence. Her head wrap is held on with a punch tag into her head that you can remove if you want. With her hair style I find that it stays put well enough if you cut the tag off.

This is a beautiful doll with natural looking hair with an orange band wrapped around her head. She is wearing a beautiful dress short with clear straps and cold shoulder sleeves hanging off the shoulders. She comes with a pair of heeled white boots. Black and beautiful Fashionista Barbie!!

I made a birthday cake for a 5 year old client. This Barbie is so perfect. She has a natural bend in her arm, and the sweetest freckles across her nose. The price is AMAZING. I’ll get her against for sure.

Grand daughter loved it

I was so excited to purchase this doll. She is perfect in almost everyway. Love her hair, face and dress. But she is quite wobbly in the legs. Her legs are separated apart farther at the hip area than the other dolls. Unfortunately, I may have to send her back and try again in hoping that this is just a fluke.

For the price I paid, this doll is a must have ! She has a pretty face with freckles ; her dress and shoes are beautiful, and the headband is easily removed. Like the other fashionistas, the only complain is the five points of articulations. I will change her body to a Made To Move because I need dolls with real articulations !!

Fashionistas 185 is really rocking. She is super gorgeous. The freckles on her face gives her a cute look. Her Hairband is made up of soft rubber and its easily removeable. Her hair bun is tightly tied with the rubber band, like she does not needs to comb her hair. She have 5 points of articulation like other fashionistas barbie's. I loved the over all look of the doll. The packet was well packed and I got her on time.

She has the most beautiful face.

Tiene la cara más bonita y dulce que yo haya visto en una Barbie. Los rasgos afro, las pecas, el pelo, son una maravilla. Por fin las muñecas negras no son muñecas blancas de pelo liso pintadas de marrón, es decir que tienen los rasgos que corresponde y el pelo rizado. La diadema se puede quitar fácilmente sin despeinarla ya que se abre. El recogido del pelo se sostiene solo, la diadema es solo de adorno. Puedes cambiarla por otra de tela, un lazo, lo que quieras. El vestido es simple y de calidad mediocre, pero le queda muy bien. Los zapatos son malísimos, se doblan los tacones y es imposible que se sostenga de pie. Sin duda los cambiaré. No trae ningún complemento, ni un bolso, nada. Es una pena que venga con cuerpo de fashionista, de brazos y piernas no articulados, aunque esto hace que sea muy barata (solo 14€). Pero una muñeca tan especial se merecía un cuerpo articulado made to move, y probablemente se lo cambiaré. Es lo único que le falta para ser perfecta. Sin embargo, para personas que la quieran para tenerla de exposición en una peana, está bien así, es bonita como viene y muy asequible.
