Extreme Dog FenceBrand Complete Professional In-Ground Dog Fence Wire Repair Kit (20 Foot Length)

This is a solid core (not multi-strand) which makes it much more difficult to lay out (very stiff). It comes in a fairly tight roll which makes it more difficult to lay out (it coils). I was EXTREMELY careful unrolling and laying out the wire. After placing it out on the ground I ran my finger nails along the wire to check for breaks. I found 3 spots where the insulation had separated all the way exposing the wire. I have worked with various wiring products for 50 years, and I have done a lot of it (at least a mile of wire). I have never seen a worse product. This is extremely bad for wire that is supposed to be for direct burial. Direct burial wire should be much tougher than normal indoor wiring products.Before purchasing I walked out the distance I needed. It came to 60 feet. After unrolling/placing on the ground I barely had enough. Note that I did not measure the wire, but it is my impression that the 100' roll was less than 75. Maybe I'm being unfair, but I'm not feeling generous after working with this stuff.

So far so good. My husband accidentally cut the dogs line while working in the backyard. This was very easy to use and right away the line started working again. We haven't had for very long, so I can speak to durability but the line I thick and the connections seem good.It does not come with instructions but I am sure you can search how to use. Really it is very easy and takes just a few minutes. Much cheaper than having company come out and fix!

Had invisible fence brand dog system for years and it was cut in a few places as I was reinforcing and digging around my seawall. I had a basic fence setup, all enclosed yard. I already had wire cutters. So far so good. The fix was easy. I found a video on utube on how u should loop the wires to resist tension at the repaired point. The flags and wire stakes were a bonus I didnt use.

Helped fix breaks in DogWatch fence. Was pretty easy to make my repairs and get back up and running. dog watch wanted to charge me $125+ just to fix one break. This saved a lot of money. I do wish the copper wire on this repair kit was more flexible and easy to bend when binding the two wires together

The wire with this particular kit is heavy duty, solid copper wire, not the thin-twisted strand wire that was originally installed with the invisible fence. High quality. Repair kit comes with everything you need....wire, waterproof connectors, stakes. Worked great.

I chopped through my buried Invisible Fence wire while digging a hole for an azalea, so ordered this kit to make the repair. It did not come with written instructions but there is a video on youtube (and besides, it's pretty self-evident). It takes only a few minutes to unplug the fence, cut the wire to fit, strip the ends of the wire, twist on the caps, put the protective pieces on top, turn the fence back on to test it, and re-bury the wire.

Nice quality but it was all tangled horrible packaging. Took longer to unravel the wire then to do repair. Also missing a stake.
