it worked fine in the position and we don't encounter the problem ...
Accurate - Shares a common issue with all oven thermometers though - stability either hanging or sitting on the oven rack. Our solution was to stand it underneath the middle rack (you sort of weave the base of the unit into the rack. For us, it worked fine in the position and we don't encounter the problem of the unit being knocked over when you check if your food has baked/cooked to completion.

the face of the thermo. turned golden brown, rendering it virtually impossible to display a reading that was visually acceptable. Find a better product, not this one for sure...

Great service, ok thermometer

My oven thermometer is off apparently
This oven thermometer is light, and easy to find a spot for it! It can be set on the rack or hung. I hung mine and the top hanger is at to bend so you don't lose it by accidentally hitting it off. According to this thermometer my oven is off by about 50 degrees. I've never had problems before but this will also serve as an aide if my oven ever decides to die. I received this oven thermometer for free in exchange for my review.
