Great read for someone looking to get their high blood ...
Very comprehensive book. Covers everything you need to know about hibiscus tea..there is even a chapter on how to buy it. For all you nerds out there, the book even discusses the history of hibiscus tea. Great read for someone looking to get their high blood pressure under control. I've heard of hibiscus tea before, but just now decided to read more on it. I have yet to try the methods suggested thus far.

LOVED IT!
This was a fantastic book on Hibiscus Tea and the link to lowering your blood pressure. My boyfriend is stress freak and it has lead to High Blood Pressure. We are your typical hippie freaks and won't associate with prescribed medications so we have been looking for alternatives like this. I especially likes that they give you the background about Hibiscus and give you pointers to growing your own. Sounds pretty easy to me!

A clear guide to using Hibiscus Tea; check out benefits and warnings.
POSSIBLE BENEFITS ---- weight loss -- aiding in digestion -- treating muscle cramps -- antidepressant -- LOWERING BLOOD PRESSUREI'm glad the author covered the pertinent facts about blood pressure -- what it is... causes ... difference betwee primary and essential hypertension ... secondary hypertension ... indications. Then the history and origins of hibiscus tea, with major kinds illustrated with beautiful photos. Then the correlation between this tea and hypertension, supported by a few clinical studies. If you have hibiscus flowers available, you can make your tea fresh; the author tells how and what you will need. But if you can't do that, then she gives you a "Hibiscus Tea Buying Guide." That is important as there are some non-certified cheap blends. Also very important is the chapter on possible side-effects such as allergic reactions and drowsiness or mild hallucinations.OTHER POSSIBLE BENEFITS: Lowering blood cholesterol ... protecting your liver ... fighting cancer cells ... rich in Vitamin C ... antibacterial and anti-flammatory ... antidepressant ... helps weight loss ... and tastes great! I'll personally vouch for it being good-tasting as I've used it two to three times a day for four or five months. But it did not lower my blood pressure. If there's one fault in this book, it is making generalized claims for health benefits which not all users will get.

Great tea
I keep a gallon of this hibiscus tea in the fridge all the time. A pleasant and zingy flavor. Is relaxing. I have taken my blood pressure 30 minutes after a glass of this tea, and my blood pressure is down on top b 10 points...perfect reason to take it.

Great info on why and how to use.
I was told by my cardiologist to drink hibiscus tea to help with water retention in the summer, so when I saw the title of this I thought wow maybe this is why my BP dropped a little over the summer. I am now going to make it a daily habit and see what happens. The losartan , exercise and eating health does not seem to get my BP to where I would like.

A Clear Explanation On Making Hibiscus Tea
So this book went over all of the necessary info for me to get started with making Hibiscus Tea. From planting your own hibscus flowers to preperation of the flowers to make tea, this book covers a lot of ground.I bought this book just because I love making tea. Of course there are so many claims about tea and its health benefits take those as you will. Another bonus is this book actuay has pictures, unlike most Kindle books. All in all this was pretty helpful book on making tea.
