Good tasting pepper.
This is good tasting pepper. I wasn't sure what to expect. It tastes similar to regular black peppercorns but smoother, or maybe less bite to it. I'm quite not sure how to describe it. If you like fresh pepper, like they offer for salads at a restaurant, then you will most likely enjoy this too. It seems expensive to me, but a little bit goes a long way so this pack should last me a very long time. I have used it on steamed veggies, eggs and fish and I have liked it very much on all of it. Plus, I was finally able to test out my new peppermill, but that's a different review. I may try to plant a couple of seeds just to see if they'll grow. I'll update if that works.

Alligator Pepper/Grais of Paradise--One of the best spices I've ever tasted
My internet sleuthing told me that Alligator pepper and grains of Paradise are the same spice. But since I had never had grains of paradise before, I still wasn't sure what to expect from this. I tried it for the first time over plain rice just so that I could experience the flavor. It's almost impossible to describe--so lightly peppery with an almost vanilla-ish taste. It's not sweet, but hit the sweet taste bud nonetheless. It reminded me slightly of allspice, but better. They arrive as small granules (peppercorns? But not really.) That need to be ground. I used a mortal and pestle. It adds great flavor to stews and roast meats.

Very nice tasting
This is a surprisingly nice seasoning, something I hadn't had before. It has a strong peppery taste, somewhere between black and white pepper but definitely unique. There's an initial burst or something so strong it's almost unpleasant, the pungent taste it comments on having I think, and then blends into a spicy flavor. The packaging also comments on it tasting similar to cardamon and cloves, though, I don't notice the cloves side at all, but I DO notice the cardamon side and I love cardamon, so that's a win for me. It's great anywhere that cardamon and pepper go well, so this may be a new go-to steak seasoning for me personally, it's quite lovely.
