35 mm slide scanner
Once you figure out how to set scanner for your film type you are off and running. Works well and screen makes things easier to determine if you want to retain picture. Mine came with a 32 GB chip which was wonderful.

Good product for the $ with a catch
Likes: Scans quickly with very good results. 35mm scans well in color and B&W, the color looks about what you'd expect from older film, face it, cameras back then were far from excellent especially the old 126 and 110 film. Newer and 35mm negatives were better. These scans bring back the color in otherwise faded paper photos so that was better than expected.B&W is outstanding, no loss in detail that I can detect.Dislikes: As noted on a few of the reviews, it does scan 126 film but it does cut off the top of the negative. Not usually a problem for my needs but it is noted. Also the negative holders are a little flimsy and trying to push a strip of negatives to scan is almost impossible without removing the holder from the scanner. I had to remove the holder every time, put the negative on it and reload. However, the negatives are over 50-years old and were not stored flat so any distortion or rough edge may cause a minor jam. I don't think the holders are great but they do work, just use a gentle hand on them. The interface took me a minute to figure out but after that, it's easy.Catch: It says that it has a 16GB SD card but it was NOT in the box. I have plenty of them laying around but this should be corrected in the product description. Also because this is a stand alone device there is little that can be done to clean up images short of brightness and minor color correction. You'll need a photo editor for clean up and scratch removal.Final Analysis: This is not a professional scanner but a good device for the money, works well, actually better than I expected. For $150 I'm not complaining and I don't expect miracles. 4 out of 5, 1 star lost due to 126 film clipping and missing SD card.Remember that a rescan of a negative is only as good as the negative you start with. If they are clean and were stored properly you should get good results but don't expect to blow up a 110 image to 8.5x11.

Really easy and convenient
I was able to use this to scan some old rolls of film from the 80’s that my mom never got developed and share these quickly with my family online. I’m sure if you wanted high quality scans you’re better off taking them to a professional but this is great for use in social media etc.

Feeding negatives very frustrating
For the price, I'm just fine with the quality. What is SO IRRITATING...I have to remove the adapter EVERY TIME I feed a set of negatives. In my case there are only 4 to 5 negatives per set, no I spend a lot of time taking the feeder out, having to OPEN IT which is not easy, and feed the negatives through the other side. If you don't feed it THROUGH the other end of the feeder, it will jam again.
