Van Gogh THE ALMOND BLOSSOMS Value Acrylic Painting Kit 11 X 14

I really like Famous Art Kits - the best and most enjoyable painting kits I have used. They are not paint-by-number with those tiny blue numbers you can barely see, that you lose if you look away, that give me headaches, and always result in that odd "paint-by-number look." This finished painting looks awesome.The kit comes with easy instructions. Their website shows enlarged images, that you can use as you are doing the details. It comes with a three different size brushes. I like that it's on a canvas board. Many or most of the other kits have a rolled up piece of canvas (just a piece of fabric!), and you have to mount it on a board to even paint it.One issue in my kit is that the blue was too light, and the green was too dark. The company is sending me replacement colors.Definitely recommend. I felt really good painting it, and very proud of it when I was done.

I like all Van Gogh paintings, so far did 3, and this one was my first. Again, you are challenged as the details are up to you and you have to pay a lot of attention as you can get lost easily. Definitely not for beginners. The blue color came out really well, but needs two coats. Simple yet astonishing! Take your time when doing this paining!

This is something I could have transfered onto a board myself...very basic, it did not look anything like I expected. WAY overpriced!
