Light weight but still good quality and design. Excellent piece of gear. Pouch on back accommodates your backpack, or it can be zipped away and hidden, so the poncho is practical for all uses.

It covered my 85L backpack (and me) perfectly on 2 out of 2 occasions so far. Both times it was raining hard for an hour. It is very waterproof. The seams did not leak. I am 5'8" and it covered me past my knees. This is more of a "fitted" poncho, meaning it fits like a long shirt and if you are stepping down, just make sure the back of the cover does not snag on protruding branches or roots. The benefit of this fitted design is you never have to worry about the wind blowing the poncho around and exposing your pack to the rain. Depending on the person, it can collect a lot or a little condensation on the inside. So slow your pace down while using this and find what speed works for you. This is the best poncho I have used so far and nothing even comes close! It was recommended to me by an experienced AT Hiker.

Was endlessly frustrating as 5’2 woman- no efficiency of movement. Deff should have sprang for pack cover -My lightweight rain jacket served me much better. This thing won’t cover pack unless being worn- I kept trying zillion different ways. But wearing it made movement incredibly inefficient.🤞 will encounter an obese giant in near future can gift 🎁 this horrible item to!Never write reviews- was truly cursing 🤬 this item.
