Clover 8440 Fine Weaving Sticks (6-Pack), Brown

These weaving sticks are GREAT!I've already created a doll blanket & Tipi rug for Kaya (an 18 inch American Girl doll). Created a nice little rug for Josephina (an American Girl doll) too. Made an sunglass case for Leah (another 18 inch American Girl doll).Progressed onward & made a darling woven purse, a belt for a jean skirt, a table runner, mats...the sky's the limit!EASY to learn, use and so much FUN!

These weaving sticks are nicely made. The wood has a fine, smooth feel. Through my ignorance, I had ordered the Thick weaving sticks. I found that those did not create a tight weave, primarily because my yarn was too thin. So, I reordered weaving sticks, this time choosing Thin. With the Thin weaving sticks, making a belt was easy and fun, and the weave size was appropriate.

This is a gift for my granddaughter. I wanted to use it before I gave it to her. So easy to use, and the size isPerfect for any age. It’s actually quite fun and very relaxing, might have to buy me one.

The sticks are well made and smooth. The instructions are not hard to follow, nor is the weaving difficult to do. I wish, tho, that there were more ideas, or pictures, of what to make with the weaving sticks, other than just a mention of what make. I also wanted to put some beads into the belt i am working on, but there were no instructions as to how to do that. (I finally put them on the long strings attached to the sticks, but haven't gotten to the point where I can slide down the woven strings to the beads, so I don't know how it will work.)There is not a lot of information about what to make with weaving sticks, tho there are a lot of online pictures of things people have made, and how to do the basic weaving. I guess one just has to tool around on the internet to find more info. Or just experiment and make it up.

I’m just learning how to use it, but I’m having so much fun with it. I would definitely recommend.

Not as long as some but made well and easy to use. Good instructions. I have enjoyed using them.

These sticks are fun and easy to master. They are ideal for yarns that give me fits when I use a crochet hook, like the really fuzzy ones. I haven't made any major projects, yet, but I will be in the future. They are very smooth, too; no splinters.

This was an amazing craft to learn. My weaving group met and we learned how to us these. Try it!

Diese Webnadeln haben eine hervorragende Qualität, sie sind sehr glatt und haben die exakte Form, die Löcher sind präzise ausgestanzt, in dem Päckcken ist auch eine Sticknadel zum Einfädeln der Webfäden dabei.Absolute Kaufempfehlung.Die Anwendungsmöglichkeiten sind sehr vielseitig, hier auf Amazon gibts dazu auch sehr gute Bücher und Hefte, vorwiegend in englischer Sprache, aber durch gute Fotos leicht verständlich. Ausprobieren lohnt sich auf jeden Fall.

I purchased these and the thick weaving sticks in the same order. I think they're a lot of fun and useful for using up scrap yarn from knitting. Right after getting them in the mail, I was able to start weaving on 2 sticks and made a bracelet in about an hour, and that was while chatting away at my knitting club!! My next project will be a rug, and I think I will use the thick sticks for that one. I would recommend getting the smaller sticks if you're only getting one set as the weave will end up being tighter. I think these weaving sticks would be great for kids!Personally, I didn't notice any problems with the holes being rough or unfinished but I don't see a big deal sanding the sticks if they were.

Exceeded my expectations! I have had other weaving sticks in the past and they have never been as good quality as these.They came within the stated time. They are easy to work with and have an excellent smooth finish.Really happy with the product and the service! Thank you!

Die Webstäbe sind sehr schön glatt. Mit diesen 6mm Stäben lässt sich sogar 4fach Sockenwolle verweben. Ich arbeite sehr gern mit ihnen, habe mir ein zweites Set für breitere Webstücke bestellt.
